After seeing her fiancé on TV kissing another woman at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mary’s life falls apart — just in time for the holidays. Over the next year, she stumbles back into the dating world, where “romance” ranges from weird and creepy to absurd and comical. It seems nothing can help Mary’s growing cynicism, until the charm and innocence of a five-year-old boy unexpectedly brings a new outlook on life and love. This heartwarming one woman show offers a hilarious and modern alternative to the old standards of the holiday season.

It’s round.” Hull was a teen prodigy and began her career at the Grand Ole Opry at only 11 years old, by Krauss’s invitation. From there, she has recorded numerous albums; played at the White House, Carnegie Hall, and Kennedy Center; and became the first Bluegrass musician to receive the Presidential Scholarship at the Berklee College of Music. In the budding music-mecca of Asheville, NC, a man with a trumpet, a guitar and a mission metamorphosed into the groove-centric but emotionally driven soul/rock band, Hustle Souls. With years of relentless touring under their belt, sold out shows and major festival appearances, the band’s infectious modern meets vintage sound has earned them a reputation as one of the East Coast’s most promising acts. After releasing a live video series in 2017, the band was approached by gold and platinum mixer and producer Eric “Mixerman” Sarafin (Ben Harper, Pharcyde etc.) about making a record. In February 2018 Hustle Souls released their debut full-length album “Color” to a sold out crowd and are currently touring from Atlanta to Boston in support of the 10 song LP.

David Bowie and his vast library of music need no introduction. Yet, even with dozens of charting hits and top-selling albums, many music fans have not delved into the hidden gems in Bowie’s catalog. The members of Wham Bam Bowie Band! are on a mission to not only faithfully present Bowie’s colossal classic-rock hits, but also to dig deep into the catalog and present the music that continues to influence generations and create new genres.
Lead singer Mark Casson, also of The Cheeksters, became a Bowie fan along with countless other young Brits when David Bowie and The Spiders From Mars appeared on Top Of The Pops, with their legendary, earth shattering performance of “Starman”. “We all knew this was something very, very different” says Mark, referring to watching the show live on TV in his native England.
Jump ahead 30 years, and Mark is a songwriter living in Nashville, releasing albums of Brit-invasion & Beatles/Bowie-influenced power pop with his wife Shannon in their critically-acclaimed band The Cheeksters. At some point Mark decided to do a one-off Bowie tribute show at a Nashville club for fun; it was a massive success, with people immediately requesting a repeat performance.
Moving to Asheville sometime later, Mark had always kept the idea alive to perform some Bowie music again, and has now assembled a band to fulfill it. Asheville based Singer/composer Aaron Price was the first to take up the challenge, adding keyboards and piano. Andre Cholmondeley of Project/Object, the alumni-based Zappa tribute band, eagerly signed up. On bass is Brett Spivey, who with Cholmondeley has an ambient/world duo called Grounded. Rounding out the band on drums is Jim Neu, who also plays with Who tribute band The Whooligans.
Wham Bam! Bowie Band! has decided to pay tribute to David Bowie’s catalog by starting with his earliest era. The band plans to work their way thru the catalog in, roughly, chronological order. Their first run of shows features classics from the Hunky Dory and Space Oddity albums, with the highlight of the evening being a complete performance of Bowie’s influential breakthrough “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars”
Wham Bam! Bowie Band! has shown that an eclectic mix of fans from 16 to 60 and beyond are excited about seeing Bowie’s music performed live onstage, where it belongs.

Each full moon we gather from dusk until dawn to celebrate the cyclical, cosmic interplay of life through music, dancing and ritual under open sky. Our purpose is to experience joy, to heal ourselves through movement and to embody the truth of each moment through sound. Every gathering is an opportunity for us to practice living and breathing at a higher vibration, to acknowledge our unity of spirit and to ground this collective experience through our bodies and into our daily lives. We invite you to co-create this experience with us. We share a cultural identity that is rooted in a global, social phenomena beyond specific musical genres or religious associations. As we continue to grow, we will communicate and collaborate with our larger community around the world, celebrating our differences as well as our unified purpose to heal and to manifest The Vibe.

We would like to invite everyone out for the First if what will be an annual Benefit Christmas Jam with Jeff Sipe and Friends. Please bring non perishable and canned food items to benefit the Bread of Life or warm clothe to benefit SAFE. This year’s line-up will consist of Jeff Sipe, Sarah Siskind, Raymond Rainey, Blake Anthony Ellege, Howie Johnson, Matt Gardner, Mark McDaniel, @Owen Schultz, and Other Special guests!!
Jeff Sipe began to play drums in the sixth grade. Then In 1975, Jeff’s first stepping stone was attending the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. — One of Jeff’s dreams finally came true when he was accepted to Berklee in 1977. While at Berklee, Jeff studied under Bob Kaufman and Bill Norine, he attended clinics given by Alan Dawson and was taken under by his mentor Lee Venters. Jeff was lucky enough to attend Berklee with an impressive cast of musicians like Branford Marsalis, Bill Frisell, Mike Stern and Jeff Watts, Kevin Eubanks, Dean Parks, Steve Vai, just to name a few. While studying at Berklee, Jeff met and played in a band with Steve Vai and Baron Brown called “Winter”. This experience turned Jeff on to a wide world of music and rhythm which gave him valuable tools that he still carries with him today. After his stay in Boston, Jeff moved to Atlanta in 1983. There he began gigging and teaching at the Atlanta Institute for Music and at a popular hang out for Atlanta drummers, Atlanta Drums and Percussion. Jeff spent time sitting in with local musicians and was introduced to Bruce Hampton through Dan Wall, a keyboardist that he had been playing with…..and that’s the rest of the story. It seemed too fitting that their first meeting took place at a wedding because not only was there a marriage there was a wedding of vast musical intention. Jeff then asked Oteil Burbridge and Jimmy Herring to sit in on this free willed musical band wagon and the Aquarium Rescue Unit was born. READ MORE
Sarah Siskind continues to be one of today’s most respected and covered songwriters as well as a stand-out independent artist, who Spin Magazine calls “an artist you must hear now”. Armed with a striking vocal style and solid guitar and piano work, Sarah is a regular NPR performer with features on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, World Cafe with David Dye, All Songs Considered, Song Of The Day and most recently NPR’s Mountain Stage. She has toured with Bonnie Raitt, Paul Brady, Grammy winner Bon Iver (who also famously covered her “Lovin’s For Fools”) and The Swell Season and had songs recorded by Alison Krauss (the GRAMMY nominated “Simple Love”), Randy Travis, Madi Diaz and many more. Born and raised in North Carolina, Sarah built her musical career in Nashville, TN. Her 2009 release “Say it Louder” was crowned ‘Americana Album of the Year’ at the Nashville Music Awards. In 2011, Sarah’s album “Novel” highlighted her as the sole musician, producer and engineer. Bonnie Raitt had this to say about it: “With Novel, Sarah has created another extraordinary collection of some of the most beautiful and unique songs you’re likely to hear. She continues to be one of my favorite singers and songwriters. She absolutely knocks me out.” Sarah returned East in 2012 and now resides in her home state of North Carolina. The return to mountains and nature inspired her to write the boutique EP “In the Mountains”, whose title track was quickly picked up and covered by Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers. Performing at SXSW in Austin, TX later that year, Time Magazine called Sarah “one of our favorite 5 voices” at SXSW. READ MORE

Reclaimed Creations is a unique sculpture exhibit created by renowned artist Sayaka Ganz. Utilizing reclaimed plastic objects, such as discarded utensils, Ganz creates amazing sculptures that visually appear unified at a distance, but are in fact separated when examined up close. Described as using a “3D impressionistic” style, Ganz’s exhibit includes installations of animals in motion, which are in rich in color and energy, to create an illusion of form.
About the Artist
Born in Yokohama, Japan, Sayaka Ganz grew up living in Japan, Brazil and Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. A lecturer and teacher, Ganz’s work has been displayed at various institutions around the globe, including the Hermann Geiger Foundation in Cecina, Italy, the Isle Gallery in Isle of Man, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.
My work is about perceiving harmony, even in situations that appear chaotic from the inside. When observing my sculptures up close, one might see gaps, holes and items being held on only by small points; step away, however, and the sculptures reveal the harmony created when the objects are aligned to the same general (but not identical) direction. Similarly, it is important to gain perspective by stepping back from current problems and look at the larger picture. Then one can perceive the beauty and patterns that exist.”
