In Flight
In Flight has an eclectic sound that is unique to each performance. The band takes form as an acoustic guitar and piano duo or as an electric trio with drums. In either form, you can expect to hear original compositions that are worldly, progressive, and infused with experimental improvisations.
The band has roots as Hoosiers but now resides in Asheville, North Carolina. For nearly a decade, keyboardist, Ian Taylor, and guitarist, Bryce Robertson, have formed an alliance of music and friendship. With the addition of Jay Good on drums, the sound continues to grow.

Jahman Brahman returns to Asheville Music Hall with their original lineup for the first time in more than 4 years! Special guests Buddhagraph Spaceship kick the night off right!

::Jahman Brahman:: is a five-member collaboration originating from Columbus, Ohio in 2007, and currently residing in the mountains of Asheville, NC. The musical intuition of each member overcomes the restrictions of any particular genre as they pioneer the musical trail with a sound completely their own. The name Jahman Brahman emerged from each member’s goal to achieve the ultimate state of musical cohesion; each instrument connected to one another to create a piece of music from the heart of one. They’ve described their particular style as shred ‘n’ flow, a dynamic sound with a wide breath of influence, but a focus on rich, fluid, progressions of energy. Providing the low end, Nate “Brother” Brown brings his own style of funked out and super fresh bass grooves. Layered on top are transcendent key strokes and a myriad of effects, which highlight Justin Brown’s full and conscious lyrics. The evolving rock-steady rhythms from Rowdy give the sound its pulse providing the heartbeat for Casey Chanatry’s riveting guitar-work. Combined, Jahman Brahman leaves the listener with a message on life, love, and the wonders experienced being part of an extraordinary musical family. Each member holds a unique passion toward many different audio paths, with influences ranging from classic rock to electronica; from punk to jazz. Instead of conforming, they ascend music through the coalescence of their diverse styles, taking risks that unfold into powerful jams and creative compositions.

Is an American rock band from Asheville, North Carolina with roots stretching from the old time to the far side and all foundations between. Creating a bridge between acoustic and electronic improvisation, they blend elements of Funk, Jam, Folk, Bluegrass, Gypsy Jazz, Americana, Progressive Rock, Reggae, and much more to achieve their eclectic sound. With a passion for creativity and the motivation to push boundaries, the band functions upon a musical paradigm for the further of artistic expression.
Buddhagraph Spaceship was created in the spring of 2014 and has since been an active influence on the East Coast music scene.

Adding a Southeast destination for designer toy makers and collectors, *Assembly Required brings designer, bootleg and art toy artists from around the country, to present and sell their work.
Asheville’s premiere designer toy expo, *Assembly Required, is presented by Unboxing Asheville, Morgan’s Comic’s, 103.3 Asheville FM and Appalachian Pinball Museum. Focusing on this artistic movement, designer toys are a form of lowbrow pop art. These toy makers pull inspiration from a variety of subversive segments of culture, as well as subcultural elements, including (but not limited to) comics, tattooing, street art, and everything related to toys of the 60’s through the 80’s.
Echoing production methods of traditional toy manufacturers, designer toys are usually intended to be displayed as collectibles, rather than to be played with. Toy makers mediums range from resin to vinyl, from plastic to plush; with molding, and production techniques such as kitbash, sofubi and bootleg (recently coined ‘Artisanal Action Figure’, by New York Times writer, Rich Juzwiak [11/23/18]). Juzwiak interviews such artists as the Sucklord and Killer Bootlegs, both of whom will be present at *Assembly Required.

We meet at 8:30am sharp… so arrive early if possible so that people on a time schedule can meet their following commitments.
