on the first Tuesday morning of every month will be reserved for “Meditative Mornings,” a pause for quiet time in our gardens and on our trails. During this time, our working garden crew will abstain from using leaf blowers, mowers and other equipment so you can be sure to enjoy the sounds of birds and the wind in the trees.
Take advantage of half-price parking on the first Tuesday of every month and come out to the Arboretum to enjoy a Meditative Morning!

This raffle prize is tailored for YOU! One lucky winner will get to choose their destination and one of these accommodations:
- 2 nights at the Balsam Mountain Inn, or the Pisgah Inn, or the Asheville Biltmore Double Tree
- Plus dinner for two for one night at a local restaurant and a $50 gift card to support your meal choice for the second night.

This annual raffle is developed and donated by Southwestern Child Development Commission, with all proceeds going to the NC Early Education Coalition.
Tickets are on sale now through November 11th. One ticket for $5 or four tickets for $15.
