We recently put out a “call for musicians” to create a compilation that is Asheville. We were blown away by the response and the talent in this town! And with COVID-19 putting a temporary halt to live music, now is the perfect time to begin sharing this playlist for you to enjoy from the safety of your own couch. While you’ll likely recognize some of these artists, there are many new ones that you’ll love to discover.
We’ll be adding new local music to our Spotify playlist every week for your enjoyment.
Yep, that means fresh local music. Free access all the time! Coming soon additional songs by The Styrofoam Turtles, Hope Griffin, Bombassic, Via and more!

We invite young LEAFers to join LEAF Resident Teaching Artist Adama Dembele for a virtual drumming and dance class for elementary age kids. Adama is a master djembefola (djembe player) from the Ivory Coast, West Africa, and has been a part of LEAF since 2005. He currently teaches year round after school classes with LEAF Schools & Streets, and he is excited to offer video classes in which students can take a journey to explore the sounds, rhythms and movements of West African culture right from their own home!

Zac Brown Band (April 24) will not take place on the originally scheduled dates, and Arena management is working with event producers to reschedule. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates when confirmed.
Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, Zac Brown Band announced they are extending their highly successful summer 2019 “The Owl Tour” to include a stop at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on April 24 with special guests Amos Lee, Poo Bear, and Sasha Sirota.
“The Owl Tour” celebrates and features music from the band’s newest album, The Owl, as well as hits from the band’s entire discography and a diverse range of cover songs that have become a signature part of any Zac Brown Band show. Featuring the dynamic melodies they have long been known for and new, genre-bending sounds, the album and tour draw inspiration from the mythology and mystery surrounding the Great Horned Owl that can see perfectly in the night, serving as a guide when we need sight even in the darkest of moments.
