This series will guide us to clear, activate and connect with the main chakras or energetic centers of the body creating space to understand yoga deeper as a holistic medicine. On 120 min classes we will explore the energetic yoga alignment, connect with the lines and centers of energy and clear the pranic flow in body-mind-spirit compound. The series is an infusion of asana or other movement, meditation, mudras, breathwork, voice activation, journaling, pair exercises and techniques to help us to access the unconscious body wisdom connected to each chakra.
The series empowers you to create a conversation with the subtle layers of consciousness and discover tools to integrate it all into your daily interactions with the world. Embodied awareness of yoga energetics truly deepens sadhana, the personal practice for Self-growth, and empowers you to step up as an alchemist of your own life.

The energetic yoga practice never really ends, thus, the series holds container for both experienced practitioners and those who are in the beginning of their yoga path.
The series is shared by Sanni, with a deep practice of yoga (E-RYT 500), meditation, Reiki energy- and bodywork, cleansing techniques, core-shamanism and intuitive dance. With humble heart, she carries the medicine of elemental initiations, rituals and ceremony to allow the deeper wisdom of Self to unfold. Sanni holds space for internal and external transformation at retreats, facilitates Yoga Teacher Trainings at the Kula Collective and works with several projects to empower local communities in different countries.

This fresh adaptation of the film is set in the fictional studio of WVL Radio Theatre, which is struggling to stay on the air one snowy winter’s night. The professional voice actors are unable to get to the studio, but the show must go on—and so a small but intrepid band of employees manages to create the story’s dozens of characters and scenes using just their voices and some everyday household items for sound effects.

About Spirals in Contact:
After studying and training with The Axis Syllabus for the couple years, Aaron has begun to grasp that there is not a straight line to be found in the human body, nor in the ways that the body moves. We are twisting, spiraling beings, and our movement pathways can resemble that of a fish, or a tornado, or a falling leaf… Finding spirals in contact improv duets opens doors to ease, safety, and the harnessing and recycling of momentum. Come take your spine for a drive. Beginners welcome!
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, natural fibers preferred. Avoid earrings and jewelry, and out of respect for those with sensitivity, no scents please.

TIX & INFO >>> bit.ly/WarrenG-AVL
One of the originators of the Hip Hop sub genre G Funk, Warren G is most identified by the song Regulators (1994) featuring Nate Dogg. Warren G along with Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg formed the group 213 as teenagers, and this led to Warren G introducing the group to his step brother Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg went on to continue working heavily with Dr. Dre, while Warren G, although he did work with Dr. Dre as well, decided to make sure he pursued his career away from his step-brother’s shadow. He did just that with the release of Regulate…G Funk Era (1994). Warren G went on to make a prominent career as not just a rapper, but also a producer. He produced tracks with Dr. Dre and produced for artists such as Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, MC Breed, and more. His most recent release was in 2015, titled Regulate… G Funk Era Pt II which included unreleased work he had done with the late Nate Dogg.

Reclaimed Creations is a unique sculpture exhibit created by renowned artist Sayaka Ganz. Utilizing reclaimed plastic objects, such as discarded utensils, Ganz creates amazing sculptures that visually appear unified at a distance, but are in fact separated when examined up close. Described as using a “3D impressionistic” style, Ganz’s exhibit includes installations of animals in motion, which are in rich in color and energy, to create an illusion of form.
About the Artist
Born in Yokohama, Japan, Sayaka Ganz grew up living in Japan, Brazil and Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. A lecturer and teacher, Ganz’s work has been displayed at various institutions around the globe, including the Hermann Geiger Foundation in Cecina, Italy, the Isle Gallery in Isle of Man, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.
My work is about perceiving harmony, even in situations that appear chaotic from the inside. When observing my sculptures up close, one might see gaps, holes and items being held on only by small points; step away, however, and the sculptures reveal the harmony created when the objects are aligned to the same general (but not identical) direction. Similarly, it is important to gain perspective by stepping back from current problems and look at the larger picture. Then one can perceive the beauty and patterns that exist.”

This training will introduce you to the Fascial Distortion Model, relate it to the understanding of Marma as an approach to self-care in yoga practice, and apply this understanding to the themes that we will cover in practical and user-friendly ways.
We’ll begin with the neck and shoulders, focusing on upper body and spinal health, and connect the ideas concerning the Fascial Distortion Model to understanding and addressing shoulder injuries — especially including typical ‘yoga injuries’ to the shoulders. This will include an additional focus on working with scoliosis — including both principles for targeted work with scoliosis, as well as insights into how these principles are useful for everyone, since asymmetries that lead to muscular and joint problems are nearly always present, whether one has a scoliosis or not. This will add new dimensions to practice, including the pairing of intentional breathing to realignment actions in asana.
From there we will expand into a treatment of the health of the whole body in the context of Movement Impairment Syndromes at the root of chronic pain — focusing in particular on the low back, sacrum, hips, knees and feet. This approach to pain problems is especially suited to yoga, and will provide teachers and practitioners with a vital toolbox for recognizing and assessing these patterns, and designing an approach through specifically targeted asana practice and remedial exercises aimed at changing them for the better.
