Celebrate hit songs made famous by Elvis Presley at the Flat Rock Playhouse in the upcoming production, All Shook Up! A famous Broadway musical hit, All Shook Up combines the hilarity of Shakespearean comedies, such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with the rock & roll music of Elvis Presley. In a musical presentation akin to Godspell and Footloose, this jukebox musical tells the story of a small-town girl with big dreams, a stick-in-the-mud mayor who has squashed any fun in her town, and the surprise visit of a leather-jacketed, guitar-playing, hip-swinging stranger. Experience the magic of rock & roll, gospel, romance, mistaken identities alongside Broadway-caliber musical numbers and hits such as, “Love Me Tender,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.
Live Music from 2pm-5pm every Saturday & Sunday! See you there!!

Hobby horsing is the “safe, fun and affordable way to ride horses”. Riders participating in competitive hobby horsing – a toy consisting of a stick with a model horse head – perform and mimic the movements and technicality of horseback riding in the disciplines of show jumping and dressage, then translate that to their stick horse, where judges will mark and score their rounds. For participants competing in show jumping, courses are set with tricky combinations and patterns, similar to the show jumping competitions seen at TIEC throughout the year. Individuals must register by noon on event day.
Join us to Run With Legends, Dean Karnazes and Charlie Engle, in partnership with Spartan Trail and Altra Running. We will meet at Fleet Feet Asheville at 6 pm and you will have the opportunity to demo footwear from Altra Running. The run will leave the store at 6:10 pm, and upon our return, we invite you to stay for a Q&A session with Dean and Charlie about running, their careers, and other topics that come up!
Food and drink will be provided!

The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is a scrumdidilyumptiously magical musical.
Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory follows enigmatic candy manufacturer, Willy Wonka, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences. This Broadway-style staging of Willy Wonka will take audiences on a fantasy ride into the land of pure imagination and is guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth.
