This is our annual benefit dinner for the animal haven of Asheville! it is reservation only and will be a 3 course, prix-fixe dinner at $60 per person (beverages not included).  we look forward to an amazing evening!

Thanksgiving is the largest running holiday with families all over the country getting together to share miles and smiles prior to their meal later in the day. We hope you will make this race part of your annual tradition. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the SECOND year of the Biltmore Park Turkey Trot!

This is Biltmore Park’s only Thanksgiving Day certified, USATF 5k. Our route will begin and end in Biltmore Park in South Asheville and run through Biltmore Park Town Square and the surrounding neighborhood. The race will begin promptly at 9:00 am.

All participants registered as of November 1st are guaranteed to receive a finisher medal upon completion, a complimentary long-sleeve t-shirt, and swag from our partners!

A big thank you to the ongoing support from our community, Biltmore Park Town Square, and our many other sponsors. Our highest priority is our commitment to hosting a first-class event all around.

All pre-registered participants will receive a 50/50 poly-blend long sleeve t-shirt if registered before November 1st. After this date, shirts will be available online in limited quantities for $10.

The City of Hendersonville will be hosting their annual Turkey Trot 5k Thanksgiving morning. The Trot is a run/walk event open to all ages, all fitness levels and all family members! The 5k starts in front of City Hall on Thanksgiving morning at 8:30 and travels through downtown ending back at City Hall. The entry fee is $12 which includes a t-shirt. This is a non-sanctioned event – we’re here for fun and exercise. Event is rain or shine, sleet or snow!

We’re releasing our 2019 Holiday Beer for you to enjoy with friends and family by the fire, whether that’s a campfire or a fireplace. To celebrate, come join us on Black Friday to get your photo with a very Asheville Santa Claus at our West Asheville taproom! We can promise, it’ll be way more fun than waiting in line at Best Buy. Santa will be set up from 3-6pm, but bottles go on sale starting at 12 when we open! This year’s Holiday Beer is a Belgian Quad aged on American Oak spirals to round out the flavor. Christmas at Connemara
Musicians and storytellers, crafts and sing-a-longs, hot cider and cookies. This free festive celebration will honor Carl Sandburg and his family holiday traditions. Young visitors will find many opportunities for participation in storytelling, sing-a-longs and crafts. The house will be decorated in the simple style of the Sandburgs with poinsettias and a traditionally decorated Christmas tree throughout December until January 6th, 2020.

Every Saturday, YWCA of Asheville, in partnership with City of Asheville Parks and Recreation, is offering free Community Open Swim to the public.  Fall 2019 hours are Saturdays 1:30-3:30 pm through December 14th. Join us in our solar-heated, indoor pool and bring a friend! You do not need to RSVP or be a member of the YWCA to enjoy community open swim.

We are teaming up with local chocolatier French Broad Chocolate for a seasonal tasting experience during the our Holiday Market. Representatives from the French Broad Chocolate and Highland will walk you through the processes for making chocolate and beer with expertly paired samples along the way.

Watch the world transform from dusk to night while climbing in the trees at our Asheville Treetops Adventure Park. Trails will be illuminated to give climbing the obstacles a new perspective. Over 15,000 colored lights, plus colorful lasers sparkling on thousands of leaves, cables, rope, and platforms throughout the park will create a mystical tree climbing experience like you can’t imagine.
