Starseed Sound Bath with Levi Reynolds
Calling all Starseeds, lightworkers, and cosmic travelers—this is your invitation to a high-frequency sound healing experience designed to awaken your celestial essence and realign your energy with the cosmic flow.
Levi Reynolds will guide you through a multidimensional sound journey using upgraded gongs, sound bowls, and celestial vibrational instruments infused with meteorites and tektites from Mercury, Mars, the Moon, and asteroid Vesta (Tatahouine). Join us for our monthly market, where you’ll discover local vendors offering a variety of houseplants, garden plants, and planty-related items, including crafts and jewelry. Show your support by visiting our social table, where we will have branded merchandise for sale to help fund the event, as well as tags for social media pages to follow your favorite vendors. Enjoy live music and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Join us at Olivette’s Riverside Park on Saturday August 23rd for a very special benefit show in support of ASAP’s Double SNAP for Fruits and Vegetables program. HarvestFest is a celebration of local farmers, community and music. Doors open at 3pm with family games and activities and live music.
In honor of our local farmers and all they do to sustain our community, all farmers and their families will have free entry to the event. All ticket proceeds will go towards the ASAP Double SNAP for Fruits and Vegetables program.

Praise and Worship Recording is an evening of praise and worship to God through songs, a service found in a Christian setting as a way that the community can come together and be a part of the live recording as we connect with God through music and songs for praise and worship to our God.

Hendersonville Theatre welcomes Leon Timbo & the Family Band as August’s intimate HT’s Hometown Sound Music Series concert! For country-soul singer-songwriter Leon Timbo, music is used as a form of growth and healing. Timbo’s country sound incorporates equal measures of vintage soul, gospel, folk, R&B, and even modern blues making for a unique experience that some have described as “transparent soul.”
After years of spreading his Gospel roots, Timbo set his eyes on Country and Americana territory with his 2021 release, Lovers and Fools. The album explored themes of love, loss, and letting go. Timbo released the follow-up, Lovers and Fools Vol 2, in June 2022. He also released a Christmas album, Carols of Love and Healing, in 2022.
Timbo is currently on the road supporting his new music and has just finished touring with two-time Grammy Award®–winning bassist, Marcus Miller, during his residency with Blue Note New York. Timbo will continue touring with Miller along with The Black Opry as well as playing festivals, including American Roots Festival and Newport Folk Festival, throughout the summer.

Curated by visionary fiddler Casey Driessen, Fiddle Forward is the concluding celebration of our Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp. This dynamic concert showcases an eclectic mix of styles—from bluegrass to world music, jazz to folk—performed by camp instructors, special guests, and some of the most innovative fiddlers today.

Program Description: On the last Wednesday of the month from May to October you can join a more formal tour and be led through the gardens by a master gardener docent as you watch the other gardeners caring for the plants. See beautiful and interesting plants, delicious vegetables, native plants for beauty and pollinator interest.
The tours start at 10:00 a.m. and should last approximately an hour. The tours will begin outside the front door of the Buncombe County Extension Office.
Wear appropriate attire (hat, sunglasses and sturdy shoes and bring some water) as this event will be held outside. In the event of steady rain in West Asheville, the workday and the tour will be canceled.
The tour is free and registration is not necessary.

NOTE: The Learning Garden is open for informal visits Monday through Friday throughout the year, but if you visit on a Wednesday, during the growing season, you can meet the Master Gardeners working in the gardens and ask questions about the plants and their care. Accessible parking is available in the Center for Spiritual Living Asheville upper parking lot. The entrance to the upper parking lot is off of S. Bear Creek Rd between Science of Mind Way and Sand Hill Rd.

Elevate your photography from the level you are currently working from. In this immersive workshop, we will explore the technical aspects of the camera you photograph with. Bring your phone, your slr or point and shoot digital or film camera, and we will explore the concepts behind taking the kinds of photos you are hoping to capture.
This program will take place outside and will follow easy trails and paved walkways. Dress for the weather and prepare to be outside for the entire program time.
