Join us at the Swannanoa Library to create a collage mosaic Juneteenth Flag. While communally creating this flag, learn the history and meaning of this flag and all that it represents. This program will continue for entire month of June where the community can add to it over time. All ages are welcome to contribute.
LEAF Global is excited to be a part of Juneteenth on The Block, Wednesday, June 19. LEAF will be hosting art-making on the parklet (just outside our front door) from 4-7 p.m.
From our neighbors, The Block Collaborative: “The Block neighborhood will come alive with various pop-in events hosted by neighbors throughout the day. The festivities will culminate in an evening gathering at The Foundry’s Workshop Lounge, where we will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and fellowship. We are raising money for 103.3ashevillefm our local community radio station, they produce diverse and eclectic programming that inspires listeners to build connections across our communities and discovers new music and ideas.
