Chamber members impact the local business community by making an investment in Chamber membership. Whether you’re a new member, a long-time member with new staff, or a business who’s considering membership, we welcome you to attend our Chamber Orientation to learn how to get the most value from your membership investment.
Chamber President Kit Cramer will give an overview of the work the Chamber is doing every day to build our community, including how we support our thriving economy by growing jobs, advocating for a business-friendly environment and helping our members prosper. We’ll dive into member benefits and share ideas of how you can take advantage of the many opportunities available to you as a member. You’ll also have a chance to meet Chamber staff and learn how you can get more engaged.
Orientation is also a great chance to meet other Chamber members.

Members of YPA are invited to this professional development session to hear an overview of the Asheville Metro Economy and the role of the Chamber’s Economic Development Coalition in driving sustained economic growth in Western North Carolina. The presentation and open Q&A will detail the organization, mission, strategies and impacts of economic development here in Asheville and Buncombe County.

Host Cody Hughes: Cody is a comedian who cut his teeth in Chicago and Atlanta. He is now based out of West North Carolina and tours the Southeast. He has opened for Lewis Black, John Oliver and Maria Bamford among others and hosts the regular Slice of Life Comedy shows at The Orange Peel’s Pulp Lounge.
About Pulp: The speakeasy inspired hideaway offers a cozy space for show-goers to relax and enjoy a beverage during the concert. Boasting over 200 different Bourbons and Whiskeys, alongside a myriad of other spirits, it is a must-visit for cocktail lovers and Bourbon sippers alike. Pulp will also open various other nights to feature local artists and “Slice of Life” open-mic comedy nights. Ribbon Cutting for Little Bee Woods
Little Bee Woods is a short term rental and micro event center located in the Bee Tree Community of Swannanoa. The cottage is two bed and two bath with a great room in the middle of the house. The event will take place in a tent and on our party platform, The Sweet Spot. We are the perfect spot for a vacation, meetings, reunions, or any other special event.
This will be a Grand Opening for Little Bee Woods. Guests can explore the property while having tasty snacks and beverages!
