This year Eblen celebrates 30 years of serving our community and helping those in need.
Our mission is to provide assistance to families and individuals in our community during times of crisis and hardship whether medical, financial or an emergency need.
We would like to celebrate our 30th with the Eblen Charities $30 for the 30th fundraising event.
Due to the generosity of a long-time friend, our first $10,000 in donations will be matched! Please help us take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

The drawing will take place on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 3:00pm EDT. All mail, phone, and internet orders must be received by 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
TICKETS
The cost to purchase a single entry (“Ticket”) for the Raffle is $125 (U.S. Funds only) and is not tax deductible.

Come meet new people and participate in our BINGO game and social hour. Prizes are donated from the Friends of the Library. Free to play!
To maximize safety we will be limiting participation to people 12 years of age and older. Advance registration will be required. Participation will be limited to allow for social distancing. Masks will be required. No food or beverage will be served.

Join Tamsin Allpress, Head of the Flat Rock Playhouse Master Gardeners, on November 6th from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm for a hands-on workshop about controlling the Woolly Adelgid on hemlock trees. This program will be held at the Flat Rock Playhouse gardens to teach homeowners how to save and plant more hemlock trees. The suggested donation is $20.00, which will be fed back into the FRP gardens. Please RSVP by November 1 by phone or email at (828) 252-4783 or [email protected]. What better way to celebrate fall than enjoying a cold beer in the crisp mountain air? Tryon’s 10th Annual Beer Fest, presented by Tryon Downtown Development Association and New View Realty, will take place at the Historic Tryon Depot on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 1pm-6pm. Join us for regional and local craft beer, local food truck favorites, fun games and live music. Event organizers will be closely monitoring state and national COVID-19 guidelines, and staff will adhere to hygienic practices throughout the event (hand sanitizer provided, contactless pours, etc.).
