To keep guests and our staff safe, we require face masks (covering both nose and mouth) by employees and guests in any area where social distancing is difficult so plan to wear them in the fruit stand, in line for doughnuts, in any areas that are not out in the orchard where you are picking. From burgers to chicken fingers, to grilled cheese and pasta, Twisted Laurel has something for even the pickiest of eaters. Twisted Laurel knows these times are weird, though, and just plain crazy. They want to celebrate kids and their hard-working parents by offering a Free Kids Meal to all children under 12 with the purchase of any full-priced entrée!

This October, we’re selling the wine and beer from our concessions inventory for you to take home! Come see us at the theatre any Tuesday or Wednesday evening in October and purchase a six pack of local beer, a four pack of cider, or a bottle of wine to take home! We’ll have a table set up at the front door, so you won’t even have to come inside, plus we’ll be wearing masks, checking IDs and encouraging you to social distance if there’s a line!

Prices: $6.00 for 6-pk 12 oz beer, $8.00 for 4-pk 16 oz cider, $8.00 per bottle of wine. Credit cards only, no cash sales. Prices do not include sales tax, which will be added.

A Wednesday tradition at Oklawaha Brewing Company

The French Broad Valley Music Association: FBVMA jam session is focused on regional fiddle tunes and songs. Carol Rifkin and John Mitchell cohost weekly, bring an instrument to play or just enjoy the music, its free, kid friendly, donations encouraged.

Key Players are intermediate to advanced but beginners are most welcome and encouraged to attend to listen, learn/quietly play along. More experienced players sit in the inner circle and take turns choosing fiddle tunes or songs. Guests, families and kids are invited to listen and often sing along. This style of community play has been used to entertain and pass down music to kids for generations.

The French Broad Valley Music Association is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed to celebrate local musical heritage. “Our community. Our music. Our sense of place.”

This multi-course dining experience will focus on vegetarian dishes and our well known IPA’s.
This is an amazing opportunity to speak with our talented brewers and chefs while sampling specialty beers and a unique seasonal menu created just for this season.

-All trivia players must have a seat outside to play. There are a limited amount of tables outside so get here early to claim your seat
-Tables are spread out 6 feet apart for social distancing
-Players will text in their answers instead of turning in sheets
-And masks are required while ordering beers inside

We will have a theme every other week! Trivia is subject to cancellation depending on the weather.

We raise all of our turkeys from baby chicks to adulthood directly on Hickory Nut Gap Farmland in Fairview, NC. They spend their entire lives rotationally grazing on pasture, free from antibiotics and added hormones. We offer a limited supply each year and a deposit must be paid in advance to secure your bird.

Price: $6 / lb
Range: 14 – 25 lbs
Please choose an approximate weight and we will tag a turkey with your name and send an invoice for the remaining balance.

Pick ups will start November 19th and run through November 25th.
