Southern Gay Comedian Ali Clayton has been performing stand up for 10 years. She got her degree in Acting then moved to KY where she was an acting apprentice at Actors Theatre of Louisville. She spent the next eight years in Chicago where she graduated from Second City Conservatory, then worked her way from the open mic scene to performing at every Chicago club to performing in Just For Laughs Chicago four years in a row. She moved to NY two years ago, and last year she got her first TV credit on the series FUNNY HOW on VICE.

Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville (sometimes still referred to as the Civic Center) is located in downtown Asheville at 87 Haywood St.

Paid parking is available at the Center, with all parking fees supporting Asheville FM. Enter on Rankin Ave.

There are also over 700 metered parking spots, and several parking garages within a 3-5 minute walk.

Kids’ Comedy Tour: Wildly funny, this educational and entertaining tour features the perfect blend of Asheville’s history and kid-centric comedy. Geared specifically toward the 5–12 year old crowd, you’ll explore the town with our famously outlandish tour guides leading the way.

Four women navigating middle age are thrown off course with their own personal challenges.  Join them on their journey in this funny, poignant story about aging and friendship.  Fourteen original songs will have you tapping your feet, laughing out loud and even shedding a tear. (Mature themes, not suitable for children.)

RPB is a formidable improv comedy group consisting of Tom Chalmers, Mondy Carter, Karen Stobbe, Kim Richardson and Josh Batenhorst.

This is how it works: RPBs will ask the audience for suggestions and then they make that come to technicolor life. Get ready to be a part of the experience because this show will push the envelope of ridiculous fun.

Anyone wanting to perform can sign up starting at 7pm and will get four minutes on stage.
