Named one of Wide Open Country’s Artist to Watch 2020! Allie Colleen has a new single in the top 30 on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart called “Ain’t The Only Hell (My Momma Raised).” The Nashville-based singer-songwriter is no stranger to the music industry and performs with a style that is truly her own. Her passion for music began at a young age and has garnered her a reputation as a notable songwriter with an iconic-sounding, impeccably strong voice that accents her Americana sound.

Violist and BMC alum Mounir Nessim performs all four parts of Matthias Durst’s hauntingly beautiful Adagio for Four Violas. Mounir recently completed his Doctor of Musical Arts in Viola Performance at Louisiana State University in 2020.

BMC faculty members Jihye Chang (piano), Ben Sung (violin), and George Speed (bass) perform excerpts from the pilot concert for Jihye’s Salon, a new living room recital series. Enjoy the music of Boccherini, Bach, Wieniawski, Saint-Saëns, and more!

Behold and bare witness as Pan and the Woodland Nymph awake into their own dreaming of a Chakra Ceremony, by invocation of the sacred, invitation of a state of flow through their movements in harmony with resonate musical tones and the serenades of Pan’s flute, and reflection in the lens of a hypnotic visual art form

Billy Litz is an Asheville, NC based multi-instrumentalist and singer with a lust for song-writing who has been called “…. A prolific tunesmith…Blessed with a distinctive lead voice — high, thick, suitably retro” – Bold Life Magazine. He tours the East-Coast with the 4-piece soul/rock band Hustle Souls and as the American Roots, Blues and Ragtime project Kid Billy where tasteful live looping combines layers of New Orleans trumpet, honky-tonk piano, acoustic guitar and harmonica.

t’s been over 20 years since Old Crow Medicine Show’s humble beginnings as street buskers. The band has gone on to receive the honor of being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and has won two Grammy® Awards: Best Folk Album for Remedy (2014) and Best Long Form Music Video for “Big Easy Express” (2013). Additionally, their classic single “Wagon Wheel” received the RIAA’s double-platinum certification in 2019 for selling over 2 million copies, while the band’s debut album, O.C.M.S., has been certified gold (500,000 copies).
Old Crow Medicine Show has toured the world, playing renowned festivals and venues such as: Bonnaroo, Farm Aid, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Cambridge Folk Festival, Coachella, London’s Roundhouse, The Ryman Auditorium, The Barclays Center, New Orleans Jazz Fest, The Fox Theater in Atlanta, The Kennedy Center Concert Hall, Summerstage in Central Park NYC, Forecastle, the Newport Folk Festival, and several appearances on A Prairie Home Companion. They’ve toured with artists such as Willie Nelson & Family, Brandi Carlile, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, John Prine, The Avett Brothers, and others. The band also took part in the historic Railroad Revival Tour, traveling from California to New Orleans on a vintage train, which was captured in the Emmet Malloy-directed, Grammy Award-winning documentary Big Easy Express.
