The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, Hatch Innovation Hub, Van Winkle Law Firm, BRCC Small Business Center, and Southern Appalachian Brewery have partnered to present this small business opportunity.
Pitch Parties are designed to offer entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch ideas for a new business, expansions, and reorganization. Each participant will be allowed up to one minute to make a quick pitch, after which the participant will receive feedback from the audience.
Pitches will only be 1 minute in length
Following the pitch will be 2-3 open questions from the audience
The pitch should be either an idea for a business or can be a new idea for an existing business
You do not have to have a business to pitch
You just need to show up to pitch – no registration needed – kind of like open mic
Above all have fun – one-minute flies by but it could change your world

Until you are Top of Mind in marketing this helps you become Top of Search in Marketing for free. Prior to Google my Business, you had to consistently work to be found near the top of page one on search. By being listed on Google My Business and learning how to move up in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools, you are near the top of page one in search. Plus, it is free. Hoopers Creek Wine Market was created with the goal to bring thoughtfully curated and environmentally low-impact wines to Fletcher. Featuring mostly natural and small family farmed wines, they pledge to bring forth wines that they have tasted themselves and believe in. Aside from wine, they are committed to bringing locally made goods to their neighborhood shop such as local cider, mead, beer, pre-packaged artisan goods, and artwork. Their passion is centered around supporting and uplifting their magical mountain community.
Event starts at 4pm, Ribbon Cutting and giveaways at 5pm. They will have one of their distributors, Kellogg Selections, presenting a complimentary wine tasting with some small bite pairings.
