Determined to resurrect his career, Frost risks everything on a series of in-depth interviews in order to extract an apology from Nixon. The 12th annual TCR Holiday Market is the official start to Holiday shopping in Western North Carolina. It is held at TC Roberson High School and will feature artists and crafters with great Christmas Decorations and gift ideas. Come out and support small businesses and your local community.

On Saturday November 3rd at Carrier Park in Asheville, SOAR and the western North Carolina community will join together to help bring awareness to ADHD at SOAR’s Eagle Run 5k. All proceeds from the event will go to SOAR’s scholarship fund and directly to the youth and young adults that we serve. Each year SOAR provides meaningful outdoor experiences to students through scholarship assistance. This would not be possible without the support of our community, alumni, and families.

The Street Tweaks Team has reimagined four city blocks to be more inviting and safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and car traffic, using inventive temporary materials and on-street art. With this open-streets-style debut celebration, you’re invited to play in the street with non-car wheels, feet and creativity. Bike parking available in front of Urban Orchard on Buxton Ave. Help roll out the good vibes!
What has you hesitating around your handstand practice? Fear of falling? This workshop will provide the foundational tools to build a strong, safe handstand practice.
Farrell will lead this workshop and will cover:
1. Kicking up in efficient, stable ways.
2. Using the wall for strengthening.
3. Wrist and shoulder care.
4. Identifying common obstacles and how to remedy them.
5. How to build handstands into your life.
6. Various alignment tips and tricks and tidbits.
This is an ALL-LEVELS workshop. The only requirement is the dream to do a handstand. Farrell will meet you where you are on your handstand journey and help you to take the next steps forward. Though handstands are super serious business, the workshop will be fun and playful. Don’t let your dreams be dreams, by this time next year you WILL be handstanding.

The Asheville Affiliates, was founded in 1999 as a social networking group for young professionals to benefit area nonprofits. All Aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS! This memorable journey will take you on an incredible journey! Believe the magic this Holiday season!
Over 88,000 guests rode THE POLAR EXPRESS with the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in 2017 and we hope to see you in 2018! The 1¼ hour round-trip excursion comes to life as the train departs the Bryson City depot for a journey through the quiet wilderness for a special visit at the North Pole. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, guests on board will enjoy warm cocoa and a treat while listening and reading along with the magical story. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the North Pole to find Santa Claus waiting. Santa will board THE POLAR EXPRESS, greeting each child and presenting them with a special gift as in the story, their own silver sleigh bell. Christmas carols will be sung as they return back to the Bryson City Depot.
THE POLAR EXPRESS begins November 9, 2018, and operates through December 31, 2018.
