Josh Goforth was already playing piano at four years old, but it was his 6th grade experience seeing Sheila Kay Adams that inspired his interest in his musical heritage. Master of nearly 20 instruments and best-known for his fiddling, Goforth is a highly accomplished old-time, bluegrass, and swing musician. After years of partnering with David Holt, playing with Doc Watson and others, Josh has truly come into his own. He’s one of the very best.

Seth Walker is often cited as one of the most prolific contemporary Americana artists on the scene today. He’s a multi-dimensional talent who combines a gift for melody and lyric alongside a rich, Gospel-drenched, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue knack for getting around on the guitar. His most recent studio album, Are You Open, produced by Jano Rix of The Wood Brothers, and a string of singles, including “We Got This,” “Spirits Moving” and a cover of Van Morrison’s classic “Warm Love” further build upon this reputation.
Growing up on a commune in rural North Carolina, the son of classically trained musicians, Seth played cello long before discovering the guitar in his 20s. When his introduction to the blues came via his Uncle Landon Walker, who was both a musician and disc jockey, his fate was forever sealed. Instantaneously, Seth was looking to artists like T-Bone Walker, Snooks Eaglin, and B.B. King as a wellspring of endless inspiration. The rest is history. He’s released ten albums, broken into the Top 20 of the Americana Radio Charts, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart and received praise from NPR, American Songwriter, No Depression and Relix, among others.

Acoustic Syndicate is a musical institution. Since 1994, their unique blend of bluegrass instruments, rock sensibilities, and conscious songwriting has inspired a generation of musicians. Through 7 albums, thousands of performances, and tens-of-thousands of miles, Acoustic Syndicate has long been heralded as one of the important influences on the modern roots-music revival.
Always a family affair, the band is fronted by Steve McMurry on guitar and vocals, and his cousin Bryon McMurry on banjo, guitar, and vocals. Their signature three-part blood harmony is rounded out by Bryon’s brother Fitz on drums and vocals. Multi-instrumentalist Jay Sanders holds down the bass with deep pocket and style.
“Their modern take on traditional bluegrass and rock values culminates in a glimmering, driving sound rich with acoustic textures and glowing vocals,” said Paul Kerr, of JamBase.
If there was ever a band that could capture the universal truths of life from the roots up, it’s Acoustic Syndicate.

What happens after an artist achieves his dreams? That was the major question Four-time Grammy® Award winner Jason Isbell was asking himself leading up to the creation of his newest album Reunions, recorded with the 400 Unit.
Isbell’s solution: to go back in time with his hard-gained knowledge. Widely acclaimed as one of the best songwriters of his generation, this latest release is a seamless collection of ten new songs that delve into relationships. Over the course of rousing anthems, lyrical standouts, and deeply personal songs, the album offers us an artist at the height of his powers and a band fully charged with creativity and confidence.
Together with the mighty 400 Unit, they have become one of the strongest live acts on the road today.
“One of the finest singer-songwriters working at the intersection of folk, country, and rock today” – NPR Music
“The roots-rocker has consistently proved himself to be one of the best songsmiths in the game” – Entertainment Weekly
“The best lyric writer of my generation.” – John Mayer

Beginning all the way back in Love Valley, in the Piedmont foothills of North Carolina where the famous Fiddler’s Grove was held, Woody was brought up in a family full of musicians and musical talent. As long as he could remember there was music surrounding his life. Woody’s Father, AL Wood, was an important figure in Contemporary Bluegrass Music throughout the 60’s and 70’s helping define that genre of music alongside bands like ‘Seldom Scene’ and ‘Country Gentlemen’. AL Wood was well respected for his songwriting, tenor singing and banjo playing, putting out records when Bluegrass was just beginning to get popular. Playing at the Grand Ole Opry three times and performing at the White House were among some of the great achievements of AL Wood’s career. Woody’s Mom influenced him through encouraging him to listen to her collection of rock n roll records turning him on to artists like Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Rockabilly music.
