The SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Dance Department presents a performance of classical ballet, modern, and contemporary dance showcasing the grace and elegance as well as the passion and versatility of the Governor’s School dancers.
All proceeds benefit Eliada Homes, a local non-profit supporting the children of WNC.

Travel with Mary and Joseph down the “Long and Winding Road” to Bethlehem while savoring dozens of classic Beatles hits. This entertaining Christmas event profoundly reminds us – “All you need is Love”.
North Carolina’s oldest professional non-profit ballet company presents the full-length classical holiday tradition with stars, story, and sugarplums. Clara’s magical journey to the Lands of Snow and Sweets featuring the traditional Tchaikovsky score has become a favorite holiday family tradition.

Celebrate the holiday season with the Asheville Community Band! This family-friendly concert features our symphonic winds playing your holiday favorites, plus this year we are featuring a collaboration with the Children’s Chorus from Fairview Elementary. See you there!

The Reel Sisters are a duo steeped in the musical tradition of Scottish harp and smallpipes. Piper Rosalind Buda and harpist Kelly Brzozowski share lifetimes of experience in the traditional music community and the technical expertise of classical training. The Reel Sisters’ music is uplifting, stirring, and just sweet fun. While the “Sisters” have been asked many times if they truly are sisters, the answer is technically no. The music is what binds them together and connects them deeply to their audiences. Come and get in the spirit with The Reel Sisters!
Our free Jazz Hour is back for the fall season! Please join us in our auditorium to listen to an hour of jazz from Steinway pianist and composer Michael Jefry Stevens and his musician friends. Each performance is different and will take place on the third Monday evenings of each month. Everyone is welcome.

The Mountain Friends Trio is an ensemble made up of multi-instrumentalists Mike Gosey, Cheryl and Doug Frey who will share their wide musical tastes ranging from traditional Appalachian folk and gospel to jazz and the Beatles (with some holiday music thrown in) on Thursday, December 19 at 7:30pm.
