As guests wait for the “flight” to board, they will have the opportunity to mingle with their fellow passengers. The tour will then take off, with the drag queen leading the way through the vibrant streets of Asheville. Although a real airplane may not be available, all seats are first-class and drinks are included. Guests will be treated like royalty, with no cover and no waiting at the breweries along the route, and a guided tasting of each flight.

This exhibition tour focuses on the Museum’s Collection of American art of the 20th and 21st centuries, exploring the connection between art and artists of WNC/Southern Appalachia and the US at large. Intersections of American Art presents three themes loosely derived from and inspired by Black Mountain College. Many objects reflect Time & Place in which artists created them, capturing a particular moment, a national mood, or geographical location. Other artists took risks through Experiments in Material & Form, using non-traditional art materials or questioning what defines a painting, sculpture, photograph, or other art form. Some artworks are enriched by Collaboration & Interdisciplinary Dialogue, in which multiple artists worked together or partnered with musicians, scientists, or other professionals in the creative process. This exhibition is organized and curated by the Asheville Art Museum. Major support for this project is provided by the Henry Luce Foundation. This project is also funded in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Lace’s debut comedy album,White Trash Cinderella, produced by 800 Pound Gorilla Records, was released in September 2022 at the number 1 spot on the comedy charts. The accompanying YouTube special garnered over 190k views in the first month and continues to climb.

Lace and fellow Atlanta comedian Katherine Blanford (The Tonight Show) co-host the hilariously healing podcast, CHEATIES! CHEATIES is a delicious, juicy, part of a well balanced diet. Every week, these two snarky co-hosts interview a guest who’s either been cheated on or been the cheater. This podcast focuses on the mistakes we all make in relationships and more importantly, how we overcome them and make it out on top.

Lace is also very passionate about helping to elevate the voices of other women. She founded Atlanta’s first and only all female stand-up comedy class Laugh Lab at the legendary Punchline Comedy Club. Laugh Lab now offers coed classes as well and was voted “2019 Best Comedy Class” by Atlanta Magazine.

Toybox Theatre, in collaboration with The Magnetic Theatre, presents a new puppetry series for ALL AGES. This new series will feature original works by acclaimed award-winning puppeteer and clown Toybox, and will bring some of the best puppeteers in the nation as special guests!

Toybox Theatre has been entertaining audiences from coast to coast with their unique brand of humor and art for over 20 years! Garnishing many “fan favorite” and “funniest show” awards, Toybox has also received an UNIMA Citation for Excellence in the Art of Puppetry, and funding from The Jim Henson Foundation.

Learn the history of Black Mountain and the Swannanoa Valley on this walking tour! Museum staff will lead attendees through historic State Street, Cherry Street and Black Mountain Avenue, relaying the history of several buildings and discussing topics including the building of the Swannanoa Tunnel and the disastrous downtown fire of 1912.

Location: Attendees will meet at the Swannanoa Valley Museum (223 West State Street, Black Mountain, NC 28711)

In 2022, Eitan went viral with his Jewish Man On The Street videos— especially a series called “Jewish Or Antisemitic”. To date, the video series has over 21 Million views and 3.5 Million likes.

Other credits include writing for the Emmy awarding winning sports segment “5 For Fischler,” being one of 30 finalists in the running to live in the MLB FanCave 2013 and posing for a picture featured in The New York Times while holding a sign that said “PALIN! CALL ME” with his cell phone number underneath.
