Introducing local Asheville resident, Adora Winquist of ADORAtherapy, a world-renowned healer, alchemist and author.
Adora will be hosting a book signing and product demo at the Asheville Salt Cave on Thurs August 5th. Her new book titled “Detox,Nourish, Activate: Plant and Vibrational Medicine for Energy, Mood and Love” was released beginning of July 2021 and has received rave reviews. The book can be ordered from her website, Aeon Books, or Amazon, or at the event.
This revolutionary book guides readers along the path of self-mastery and the ultimate expression of their personal truth, offering a three- step system designed to heal trauma at the core level from this lifetime and many previous generations. Knowing how to save our own seed is an important and fun skill that anyone can learn how to do, and make part of one’s current garden plans. Seed Saving is an accessible craft that can actually make you a better gardener by helping you understand the full life cycle of plants and botany. Learn why, how, and when to save seeds; with a focus on harvesting and processing for viability, good germination, and storage. This class will include demonstrations on low tech seed processing methods.

Join author and seed farmer Bevin Cohen for this fun and informative free virtual workshop! Cohen will explain the importance of saving our garden seeds, sharing their stories, and giving the gift of seed to others. Learn the basics of this traditional skill and start saving seeds from your own gardens! Bring your seed saving questions and have them answered during the Q&A session after Bevin’s presentation!
Bevin Cohen is an author, herbalist, gardener, seed saver, and educator. He’s the owner of Small House Farm and the founder of Michigan Seed Library, a community seed-sharing initiative that has worked to establish more than 90 seed library programs! He offers workshops and lectures nationwide on the benefits of living closer to the land through seeds, herbs and locally-grown food. Bevin is a freelance writer and videographer whose work has appeared in numerous publications including Mother Earth News, Hobby Farms, Grit Magazine, and the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company catalog.
