The Omni Grove Park Inn offers multiple options for celebrating the New Year, including a plated five-course dinner with live jazz in the Heritage Ballroom and dinner at the Blue Ridge Buffet with a comedy show.

This year we’re throwing a Micro Monday Kick-off Party on January 1st from 6-8pm with exclusive goodies, a look into this year’s prizes, and a special incentive for joining on our first day of Micro Monday!
Here’s the fine print: Micro Monday participants will recieve a passport punch card with the opportunity to try a different beverage each week for eight weeks. To earn a punch on your passport, you must order a full pour or 32 oz growler of the beverage of the week. We strive to have enough product to last all week, so if you can’t come on a Monday, that’s ok!

You will have a chance to pay $10 yearly dues as well. Again, please be courteous in changing your RSVP in a timely manner if your plans change.
Your children are welcome anytime between 5-10 pm, pizza dinner is included, $40 for the first child & $20 for each additional sibling. Only 18 spots are available – registration is open on our website!

Unlock the joy and creative spirit of the holidays while also supporting the Museum’s mission! Start your winter cocoa creation by choosing between traditional or white hot chocolate as your base. Next, decorate your creation with all kinds of toppings, including crushed peppermints, butterscotches, caramel syrup, mini marshmallows, candy canes, sprinkles, and more. |
Please join us for lunch at Twisted Laurel in downtown Asheville, then let’s walk the short distance to the Asheville Art Museum, where they are having a special exhibition on photorealistic perspective.
For those that RSVP to this event, please purchase your museum tickets prior to attending. The museum states they release their tickets on the 15th of each month for the coming month, so please consider reserving your ticket on or around December 15th for the January 6th meetup. I bring a group of games each month but feel free to bring your own as well. No specific games are set up for the night, we just bring a bunch of stuff from our collections and play some pick-up games. We have the tables and chairs. Bring your own food if you’d like (there is a microwave and fridge). There is also a Chinese place across the street, a convenience store for drinks and snacks, and we’re in walking distance to Hot Dog World. NOTE: This event is held at a church but it is not a church event, it is a community event. Everyone is welcome, everyone should feel comfortable attending, and while I’m always happy to privately answer questions about my faith or the church if asked, proselytizing is not the purpose of these gatherings. I hope the location does not make anyone feel uncomfortable and if you have any questions you can message me directly.
