This year, Eliada will maintain some beloved attractions including the tractor ride, which now drives all the way around, and partially through, the Corn Maze, the jumping pillow, the corn kernel sand box, the spider web climber, the tube slides, and the corn cannons.
New This Year:
This year, Eliada’s featuring fun monsters in the maze design. To accompany this theme, a new game has been added to the event. This monster mystery will take you through the maze, where you follow clues, and find monsters hidden throughout the cornfield. You can be a monster mystery detective!
Like last year, Eliada is pleased to announce that the corn planted in the field is Non-GMO, and that Eliada used all natural fertilizers to help the corn grow. Eliada is committed to sustaining our land and the health of our campus through sustainable farming methods. Since we made this shift in practice last year, our neighboring farmers have already let us know that their bee populations have returned. We are proud to be impacting the great community through our farming practices.
Beer and Cider:
This year, Eliada is pleased to offer beer and cider to guests during select weekend hours.

About This Trip
Guests will hear a narration of Schulz’s “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” as the train travels to the Pumpkin Patch. Upon arrival, passengers will be greeted and have a photo opportunity with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy. During your 1 hour and 30 minute layover, your activities to enjoy at The Great Pumpkin Patch will include:
- campfire marshmallows
- coloring station
- temporary tattoos
- trick or treating
- bouncy house (weather permitting)
- wagon rides
And kids, don’t forget to wear your Halloween costumes! There will be plenty of PEANUTS™ merchandise at the GSMR Gift Store and Train Museum! Each child will also select their own pumpkin from The Great Pumpkin Patch to take home.
Do you love cars? If so, then join us at Asheville Outlets (ShopAshevilleOutlets.com) for Cruise ‘In, a monthly car show featuring an exciting display of cars, trucks, motorcycles and special interest vehicles behind the Food Court on Sundays, May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20 and November 17, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cruise ‘In is free to car owners and spectators.
Join Aloft and Charlie’s Angels for a howling good time at our Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Party on Sunday, October 20! From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., party with your pooches and compete in our costume contests to win fun prizes. Lounge around w xyz Bar for drink specials and tasty treats for humans and dogs alike.
Does your pup have what it takes to strut their stuff? Check-in for the dog parade and costume contest begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by the parade and costume contest at 5:00 p.m. Furry friends can be registered based on small, medium or large breeds and the top three winners will receive a prize! All dogs who enter the contest will receive a treat and owners will receive a $5 voucher to w xyz Bar.
Are you and your pup a package deal? Enter in our dog and family costume contest for the change to take home the first-place prize! Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and the contest will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Family Fun Broadway Style Circus!
D.C. native, John Conroy, brings an everyman’s attitude to smart, sharply written material that runs the gamut from shrewd observations to social satire.

Our 7th annual Haunted Trail at Pisgah Brewery is designed for kids and is filled with live actors and spooktacular props. Guests exit the Trail to discover a festival filled with games, contests, crafts & ghoulish good times.
- Ghouls For Schools: a portion of sales go towards supporting local schools
- The only non-scary Halloween event geared toward children ages 3-12
- Sweet Peek Tour: Younger children may tour the Trail before it gets dark and without actors

Known for whip-quick wit and rollicking improvisations, Sam Tallent is one of the sharpest, most original rising talents in comedy today. Fresh off his New Faces debut at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Sam has been called “the absurd voice of a surreal generation” by the Denver Post, and, when not maintaining a “Black Flag esque tour schedule” (Savage Henry Magazine), Sam has worked alongside many of the biggest names in comedy, including Russel Peters, Ron White, Dave Chappelle, Doug Stanhope, Dana Carvey and Hannibal Buress. He recently won his battle on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, and was seen on VICELAND’s Flophouse as well as the Chris Gethard Show. His writing has been published on VICE.com. We are excited to announce a special halloween Kid Hop Hooray Event! And surprise: this one will be outside at 75 Coxe Avenue downtown (next door to Asheville Brewing on Coxe Ave.)
Doors and event start at 10:00am and your little ragers can boogie with us until 1:00pm – drop in anytime! The event will feature an open dance area, a live DJ spinning all our favorite age appropriate tunes, a costume contest, Halloween crafts, a bounce house, and of course, great Asheville Brewing beer on offer for the parents!
DJ Oso will be there (as always) spinning Child-Appropriate FUN dance music from Taylor Swift, to Lil Nas X, to Secret Agent 23 Skidoo and more.
There will be FREE fun activities and a bounce house on site for your little dancers, plenty of secure space to play, dance, and get their sillies out, and snacks for purchase from Asheville Pizza Co and the Hop Ice Creamery! And of course, Asheville Brewing will be setting up the bar for mom and dad’s refreshments (and/or kids’ juice boxes).
Padded area available for crawlers and new walkers to play and explore.
Ticket price includes applicable sales tax.
Our annual Halloween family festival offers spooky arts & crafts, games and face painting, a hay maze, and educational animal encounters throughout the day. Don’t forget to dress in your best costume for the costume contests at 12:30pm and 4pm!
