Fire Mountain Trails and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians have announced their partnership, sponsorship, and friendship with ultra-endurance mountain bike racer, record holder, champion Alexandera Houchin (Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe), current women’s champion of the 2800 mile Tour Divide, 550 mile Colorado Trail Race, and the Arizona Trail 800.
Houchin will be in Cherokee for Fire Mountain Inferno Enduro Weekend, Cherokee’s ultimate biking event, and the Museum is delighted to welcome her with a Meet & Greet on Thursday, April 20 from 5-6:30pm. Join us as we hear Houchin’s inspiring story, watch the short film “Stronger Together,” an intimate look at the cyclist’s life, and have a Q&A session following the screening.
