Guests will meet outside the Asheville Art Museum (2 S. Pack Square, Asheville, NC 28801) and then depart with their treasure map on a walking team scavenger hunt where they will use their minds and feet to follow clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest for a grand prize!
The hunt involves walking a distance of up to 2.0 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete.
Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free with the purchase of an Adult ticket.
Bring your own skates and roll bounce with us to your favorite soundtrack.
Dates are May 19th, June 2nd, July 7th, Aug. 4th, Sept. 15th, & Oct. 20th

Join Us This Sunday for a Traditional Game Day. Sunday Funday the Old-Fashioned Way!
The Perspective Café is kicking off 2023 with a classic bang! Grab your friends and join us each Sunday from 2pm to 5pm in the Perspective Café to play an assortment of board and card games. You can even bring your own favorite games from home to share with new friends.
The Perspective Cafe will be offering special snacks and cocktails including $6 local beers and ciders, and freshly popped old-fashioned popcorn to enjoy while you play and enjoy a memorable afternoon! Enjoy the galleries and then head up to the rooftop.

Everyone is invited to our monthly game night. I bring a group of games each month but feel free to bring your own as well. No specific games are set up for the night, we just bring a bunch of stuff from our collections and play some pick-up games. We have the tables and chairs. Bring your own food if you’d like (there is a microwave and fridge). There is also a Chinese place across the street, a convenience store for drinks and snacks, and we’re in walking distance to Hot Dog World. NOTE: This event is held at a church but it is not a church event, it is a community event. Everyone is welcome, everyone should feel comfortable attending, and while I’m always happy to privately answer questions about my faith or the church if asked, proselytizing is not the purpose of these gatherings. This marks the first time our scenic county will host this prestigious national event, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome over 350 talented athletes to our trails as they compete for national titles.
Spectators, here’s some fantastic news for you: admission to this thrilling event is absolutely free! Prepare to witness adrenaline-fueled action as riders tackle the gravity-defying challenges of mountain biking. First and foremost, we’re thrilled to announce that this sensational event is free for all on-foot spectators, so gather your friends and family for an unforgettable day of mountain biking action. We are offering a pay-for spectator shuttle pass per day that will give you access to the spectator shuttle up to the top of the mountain. Safety is our utmost priority, which is why we have designated secure areas specifically for spectators to enjoy the races while maintaining a safe distance. Waivers must be signed by all individuals on the property. So come one, come all, as we extend a warm welcome to Rock Creek, where the thrill and excitement of gravity mountain biking awaits you!

Now your kids don’t have to sit around and watch while mom and dad compete – they get to jump into the action and earn medals too! Organized by Lake Lure Classical Academy, your children can enjoy many events in our Junior Olympiad.
EVENT DETAILS
Being able to share in the spirit of competitive events makes the Lake Lure Olympiad even more special for athletes and their families. Kids can enter one or all of the events listed below and earn medals accordingly. The Lake Lure Olympiad is truly fun for the whole family!
BASKETBALL SHOOT
Sink as many of your 10 shots as possible. A standard height hoop used for older kids (7 years and up) and lower height hoop for younger kids.
BASEBALL THROW
See how many baseballs you can throw through the target!
40-YARD DASH
What else? A race against the clock!

See how far you can jump from a standing position.

The 63rd Annual Skyview Golf Tournament will be held July 11-13, 2023 at historic Asheville Municipal Golf Course. The Skyview Golf Tournament welcomes all new golfers and we hope to see all of our returning players at Muni.

Come join us for some board game merriment! No need to bring a game for this one. Well played in Asheville has over 700 games to choose from. It is $7 to get in and play till you drop. Well played also has a menu of food and drinks as well as wine, beer and cocktails. Everything we need to have a fun filled night!

The event features a variety of local cycling entrepreneurs, service providers, and leaders who share their stories, products, and services in a series of 3min dynamic presentations facilitated by Asheville on Bikes’ executive director, Mike Sule. Following presentations Asheville Brewing Company sponsors a pint and conversation with presenters and attendees. Seating is limited to 100 guests so please RSVP for Bike Fest Industry Night.
