Dress up in your best costume and play BINGO at Harvest House. Prizes will be awarded to BINGO winners and for best costume
Dress up for the occasion and enjoy the Halloween decorations and play BINGO at the Burton Street center. Food will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to BINGO winners.
Come join Mandy of Funky Flow Yoga for an all-levels Halloween mimosa yoga class at plēb urban winery! This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. We will be enjoying mimosas, so put on both your yoga pants and your drinking pants for this class!
Stick around afterwards and taste some fabulous wines, or just keep the mimosa thing going! The River Arts District, where this class is located, has some awesome food options in the surrounding area, so plan to make a day out of it.
For our special Halloween class, we will have some spooky music, a costume contest (both couples and individual prizes awarded), and Halloween candy, of course!
Class is $10. You may purchase any mimosas or other wines you’d like at the bar.

Come meet new people and participate in our BINGO game and social hour. Prizes are donated from the Friends of the Library. Free to play!
To maximize safety we will be limiting participation to people 12 years of age and older. Advance registration will be required. Participation will be limited to allow for social distancing. Masks will be required. No food or beverage will be served.

What better way to celebrate fall than enjoying a cold beer in the crisp mountain air? Tryon’s 10th Annual Beer Fest, presented by Tryon Downtown Development Association and New View Realty, will take place at the Historic Tryon Depot on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 1pm-6pm. Join us for regional and local craft beer, local food truck favorites, fun games and live music. Event organizers will be closely monitoring state and national COVID-19 guidelines, and staff will adhere to hygienic practices throughout the event (hand sanitizer provided, contactless pours, etc.). WORTHAM CENTER PRESENTS
Gentle Yoga with Miranda Watson
Restart your wellness in a safe, judgment-free environment. Miranda Watson’s Gentle Yoga class focuses on connecting the breath with movement to calm and soothe the nervous system and soften the body into openness and stillness. Miranda skillfully guides students through a slow and fluid sequence of postures that encourage improved flexibility, range of motion, balance, coordination, and strength. The class ends with a guided meditation for deep relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat and any props you might need. No experience necessary.
With installation complete on a brand-new, venue-wide air filtration system, the Wortham Center is excited to reintroduce classes at the facility. Gentle yoga class is held on Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. No reservations required.
Classes are free with optional donations to support students returning to the theatre via Wortham Center’s Y.E.S. (Youth Education Scholarship) Fund.
About Miranda: As a lifelong dancer, Miranda Watson was drawn to yoga for the physical benefits — but soon discovered that it also helped her to manage stress and quiet the mind. She quickly fell in love with yoga, became a certified yoga instructor, and has now been practicing yoga since 2002.
