West Buncombe Elementary PTO is starting to plan for our silent and live auction event
scheduled for April 29, 2022. At this fun event we have a meal followed by a silent auction and
ending with a live auction of 10-15 big items. This event is typically attended by about 300
community members. Another highlight of the night is our raffle basket drawing. The event
proceeds will help pay for much-needed materials for our teachers and students.
We would greatly appreciate any donation to make our annual fundraiser a success. Should you
make a donation for the silent or live auction your business will be recognized on the auction
display as well as event flyers. We will also provide a donation receipt letter with the PTO’s tax

For those who missed the February Hard 2 Recycle at A-B Tech or for those who didn’t want to brave 26W on a Saturday, the next Hard 2 Recycle will take place in Hendersonville on April 2. Volunteers are still needed!
In addition to the materials we aim to recycle, we’re also collecting items for donation to Blue Ridge Humane Society, including: plastic totes, shoe boxes; pet crates; towels; blankets; pet toys; non-pellet-filled stuffed animals; non-retractable leashes; unopened bags of dry pet food; clay cat litter; unopened cleaning supplies, such as bleach, glass, wood, and floor cleaners; hand soap; dish soap; and laundry detergent.
Fencing materials are also accepted: heavy duty t-posts, welded wire and chain link fencing, chicken or hog wire, and gates.

About this event
Join host Broker Asheville for a food drive to support Manna FoodBank and a special screening of THE SANDLOT for our VIP Clients, Friends and Family.
RSVP now for this fun, family event on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 to 5 pm at Rabbit Rabbit, 75 Coxe Avenue, on Asheville’s South Slope. Admission is FREE, and we will be sharing some goodies for you and your family to enjoy. We’re excited to see y’all!
Throughout the entire month of April, Broker Asheville will be conducting a Food Drive for Manna FoodBank. We will kick off the Food Drive at this VIP client event. There is no pressure to bring anything but yourselves, but if you feel moved to donate please refer to the list of items below.
Those who donate throughout April will be entered in our raffle drawing — including everyone who donates at the movie screening — for a YETI Hopper BackFlip 24 Backpack Cooler!

Giving blood is a simple thing to do, but it can make a big difference in the lives of others. Asheville Outlets is teaming up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 13. The donation drive will be held in Suite 348, across from RH Outlet. Donors are asked to register in advance by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/give and entering the sponsor code AshevilleOutlets. All Blood Donations are tested for COVID-19 Antibody.
