Thanksgiving is the largest running holiday with families all over the country! Turkey Trots are a great way to start the day. Join us at Biltmore Park Town Square and enjoy some fresh air and exercise before gathering around the table for your Thanksgiving feast! You’ll share miles and smiles with your family and friends as part of this fun, annual tradition.

The race is located in Biltmore Park Town Square in South Asheville, North Carolina. The entire race is run throughout the Town Square and the surrounding neighborhoods within Biltmore Park.

Book now for the Meadowlark Annual Thanksgiving dinner 5pm Nov 24th. Turkey, Ham, Boyd’s Elk Chili and all the traditional sides as well as Joseph’s pineapple upside down cake and Barber Orchard fruit pies. Dinner is $20 for hotel guests and $30 for non guests and includes a glass of wine or a beer of your choice. Mike Ogletree will be playing Scottish and Irish folk songs. The Speakeasy will have the football games on during the day and music later that night. Last year was a special party with guests, family and friends.

Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.

Formerly known as the Road Warriors, the club rebranded to the Swamp Rabbits on August 26, 2015 in an effort to really ingrain itself in the fabric of the community. The name is inherently Greenville – specific to the city and unique in the sports world.

Continuing the reinvented holiday classic, this production highlights Victorian societal expectations and prosperity while Clara and her beloved Nutcracker dance their way through the cherished landmarks and stunning scenery of Greenville and into the hearts of the audience.

The libretto is adapted from E.T. A. Hoffmann’s classic story, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Choreographed by Hernan Justo, the refreshed ballet is based on the original Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov ballet.

You are invited to this powerlifting event to watch and cheer on your favorite competitors at
this annual Powerlifting competition, where competitors attempt to lift as much weight as possible using the squat, bench press

music, open vintage space and wood floors and is guaranteed to have you dancing East Coast and/or Lindy all night long, A free

Blue Ridge Roller Derby is excited to invite you back to the Smoky Mountain Event Center at 12pm noon on Sunday, Dec 4th to see our home teams battle it out on the track again! This is our second home team game of the season and this time we’re bringing even more festive cheer and all the fun roller derby intensity. Our first home game in October filled the house and we expect another great turnout! Our fans are incredible and there’s room for you to join. This is a family friendly event. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 12-18, and free for kids 11 and under. Doors open at noon and the first whistle is at 1pm. BYOB is allowed (please drink responsibly).
