PUFFS: A One-Act for Young Wizards
The Man of Magic
The Man of Magic
For 7 years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story…..
The New York Times proclaims Puffs “A fast-paced romp through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.’ For Potterphiliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world, Puffs exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry!”
This clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

It’s jam packed full of mind blowing magic, mind reading, comedy, and audience interaction. Not only will you be amazed, but you’ll also be inspired as he combines his expert skill as a magician/illusionist with inspirational messages to help his audiences believe anything is possible. A few of Jonathan’s accomplishments include being a finalist on America’s Got Talent, featured in the UK on the award winning TV show, The Cruise, was nominated for Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year and has traveled the world performing as a resident headliner on board many different luxury cruise lines. With the use of today’s technology Jonathan will give the audience a truly unique experience by getting the magic up close like never before. Registration is now open for the next session of youth tennis classes starting March 3rd at Hendersonville Racquet Club. Kids are put in groups based on age and ability with seven levels available. The session is six weeks long and is $79 for members or $99 for non-members for one class a week. Two days a week (12 sessions) is $139/169.
“Our youth tennis program has something for any child who wants to play. From beginner to high performance player, we put them into situations where they will be challenged and can succeed while having a fun time doing it.” stated HRC Junior Tennis Academy Tennis Pro Cre Still.
The format for this session is having classes once or twice for six weeks. All classes are taught by certified tennis professionals and will be held on HRC’s arena courts. For more info go to www.hvillerc.com or contact 828-693-0040 or [email protected].
Hendersonville Racquet Club is a six acre complex that includes 6 outdoor tennis courts, 3 arena tennis courts, four racquetball courts, 7 pickleball courts, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, group fitness room and outdoor leisure area by Shaw’s Creek and pond.

· Six class (session) package – One day/week – $79 members/$99 for non-members.
· Two days/week $139 /$169. Drop-In (single) class – $15 for members, $20 for

Summer Day Camp is a great option for kids ages 9-17 with any skill level to learn and practice on the iconic rivers and lakes of Western North Carolina. Paddlers from beginner to advanced will receive high-quality instruction from our elite team while having fun and making friends.
Join us on Sundays this Fall and Winter for $10 to ride Kolo Bike Park on over 125 acres beside Downtown Asheville! Enjoy pump tracks, skills area, trails, skinnys, berms, table tops and much more! Littleville is also included for our youngest shredders. Rentals not included.

Our latest fun-for-all-ages botanical model train displays invite you to experience the Vanderbilt family’s love of travel and culture in an engaging new way.
Located in Antler Hill Village, these displays feature replicas of iconic landmark structures from around the world, some of which the Vanderbilts visited during their travels. Each beautifully executed piece was handcrafted from such natural elements as leaves, bark, and twigs. This one-of-a-kind, must-see experience is included with Biltmore admission.

The Perspective Café is kicking off 2023 with a classic bang! Grab your friends and join us each Sunday from 2pm to 5pm in the Perspective Café to play an assortment of board and card games. You can even bring your own favorite games from home to share with new friends.
The Perspective Café will be offering special snacks and cocktails to savor while you play and make a memorable afternoon! Enjoy the galleries and then head up to the rooftop.

The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are much more than a professional hockey franchise playing in Upstate South Carolina; it is truly Greenville’s hockey team. Formerly known as the Road Warriors, the club rebranded to the Swamp Rabbits on August 26, 2015 in an effort to really ingrain itself in the fabric of the community. The name is inherently Greenville – specific to the city and unique in the sports world.
It’s the electrifying energy and unstoppable passion of Swamp Rabbits fans inside The Well combined with the award-winning game presentation that make attending a Swamp Rabbits game the BEST fan experience in the ECHL! From the moment you step inside the arena, you’ll find FREE concourse activities for the whole family, including sign-making, temporary tattoos, interactive games, music and there’s always a good chance you’ll run into the Swamp Rabbits mascot Stomper! Only sign up for the session(s) your child(ren) are able to attend. By signing up for the lottery, you are agreeing to enroll if selected. Selections will be generated randomly.
If your registration request is selected, you will receive an email in early March with instructions and a deadline for completing registration. Priority will be given to siblings applying for the same camp session but cannot be guaranteed. Individuals on the waitlist and those that do not get selected will be alerted by mid-March.
Registration by lottery will be employed to ensure equity of access for all interested participants, with the aim of reducing stress and the impact of technical issues, while increasing flexibility for families hoping to register. We strongly recommend that prospective participants enter the registration lottery at the beginning of the time window to enable time for any needed troubleshooting.

White Horse’s legendary Open Mic takes place each and every Tuesday at 7pm.
You’ll hear a variety of wonderfully talented folks on their way up. You never know what you’ll hear… original songs, covers, guitar, piano….. and often something quite surprising.
The signup sheet is placed on the bar at 6:30 and the first ten to sign in are the performers for the evening. Each gets 15 minutes or three songs.
It’s a lot of fun… especially since it’s FREE !!!!!

Building Community One Tune at a TimePacolet Junior Appalachian Musicians (PacJAM) provides an opportunity for area youth and adults to experience community through the joy of participating in traditional music.
PacJAM offers sessions each fall and winter/spring semester, as well as an intensive day camp one week each summer for youth.
Students of all skill levels ages 6-late teens and adults are invited to join us for instruction in traditional music. Click here to learn more.
Our winter program will run every Wednesday from January 18 – March 22 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM for Beginner & Intermediate students, & 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for advanced students.
