The FBRGCF’s 95th Annual Holiday Greens Market is a historic event featuring unique, handcrafted works by regional artists including wreaths, centerpieces pottery, ornaments, jewelry, decorations, baked goods and many more items. This one-of-kind experience offers many options for holiday gift-giving and home decorating, marking the beginning of the holiday season. Proceeds from the sale support local horticultural and conservation scholarships and projects.
Join us for a two day hand made craft extravaganza! Our talented volunteers (Elves) have been busy creating unique holiday decor perfect for holiday gifts or to treat yourself.

The French Broad River Garden Club Foundation presents its 95th Annual Holiday Greens Market. This one-of-a-kind, historic event features unique, handcrafted works by regional artists including wreaths, centerpieces, pottery, ornaments, jewelery and many more items. It is a unique experience offering many options for holiday gift-giving and home decorating.


What’s better than shopping for plants? How about wandering around the brewery while sipping on a delicious 12 Bones Brew! Enjoy a fun afternoon of sipping and shopping a wide array of houseplants to take home.

The Big Crafty is a hand-to-heart celebration of creative exuberance at the heart of Asheville, NC. We believe in supporting creative venturers by crafting warm communities of creative practice.

Jazz Sunday at One World Brewing West is a modern jazz jam held every Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm. Previously known as Jazz Monday, the jam has been running non stop since July, 2018 at the West Asheville brewery and is hosted weekly by The Fully Vaccinated Jazz Trio, consisting of Ray Ring on guitar, Jason DeCristofaro on drums, piano and vibraphone, and Connor Law on bass. Jazz Sunday typically features a guest artist for a short set and then welcomes jazz musicians of all levels to sit in for the remainder of the afternoon on One World’s spacious outdoor stage.

Join the Blue Ridge Audubon, a chapter of the National Audubon Society for their monthly bird walk at Jackson Park, a renowned birding location. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, meet at the Administration Building parking lot, located on Glover Street, and join the group to see the many wonderful birds found at Jackson Park, Hendersonville’s largest park.

We will meet at High Five Coffee on Riverside Drive. If you’d like coffee, we’ll be there 30 minutes earlier for a meet & greet!
Once the coffee has warmed us up, you can expect the schedule to be:
1. Intro Circle sharing your name, where you’re from, fun fact about you, and what brought you to share in the experience.
2. We will walk along the River, sharing what an expedition mindset is and how it can help with everyday stresses and challenges.
3. Back in a circle, we will teach you how to use FABCs (Feel, About, Belief, Choice) to express how you’re feeling.
3. Each person will get an opportunity to practice active listening and feel heard.
4. We will have a clinic showing you how to strike a fire with metal and quartz. No lighters are required!

Check out used books, jigsaw, puzzles, and more at this special event at the Black Mountain Library. On Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., the Friends of the Black Mountain Library will be having a special holiday pop-up book sale. We’ll have plenty of great gifts for readers including fiction, nonfiction, children’s, and vintage books. You can get a bag of books for $5, and children’s books will be 2 for $1. We’ll also be selling gift baskets and jigsaw puzzles!
The Friends of the Library preview sale will start at 9:30 a.m. and you can join the Friends on the spot for $15. Come by and shop locally to help the Black Mountain Library.

On the Second Saturday of each month, the River Arts District holds gallery walks with demonstrations, workshops, live music, wine tastings, delicious food, and more! We also have multiple artists now hosting online livestream events for those who wish to join us from home.
If you’re coming to the district you can meander the mile-long district and discover all that the “RAD” has to offer. There are more than 250 artists in the 23 buildings throughout the district. Most of them will be on hand to describe or show you their techniques and share their inspirations.

Vintage Market Days® is an upscale, vintage-inspired, indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, food trucks, seasonal plantings, and a little more. The market is a three day event held several times a year in varying communities throughout the United States. Each Vintage Market Days® event is a unique opportunity for vendors to display their talents and passions in creative venues throughout the country.

Join in the Holly Jolly cheer with a community Sing-A-Long, where Lauren Davis of @fiddyshadesofgreen and the rest of the Farm Fam will get together to sing Christmas classics! Mr. Boujee Bear may make an appearance and we’ll also have that 4:20 Burndown at 2:40 that the Hurricane cancelled.
Almost Madi will be joining us to play gentle tunes as you peruse our wonderful line-up of craft vendors, which will include artisan food vendors like Brew Naturals (y’all…that elderberry is amazing) and Planet Kitchen, as well as beautiful jewelry, amazing art, glass blowers, ceramics, and of course a wide selection (and maybe even a few special drops) of green goodness from Appalachian Standard!
