See What 2021 Will Bring--Benjamin Bernstein's Annual Astrological Forecast

The astrology of 2020 has already turned the world upside down. So what can we expect in 2021?

AFOA founding member Benjamin Bernstein will give his annual forecast lecture via Zoom on Friday, November 20 at 7 PM US Eastern Time. This call may reach capacity, so consider joining 10 minutes early to guarantee your space. The Zoom info is at the end of this announcement.

Benjamin will put special focus on 2021’s headline event, a powerful Saturn-Uranus square that lasts the entire year. (One of its central themes will be the rapid breakdown of existing structures, as well as the quick rise of new ones.) He’ll also predict when this square’s effects will be most powerful, based on the timing of Mars-Saturn-Uranus T-squares and other catalyzing events.

Benjamin will also discuss the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the first degree of Aquarius on 12/21/20, and its continuing effects in 2021. Does the extraordinary timing of this Great Conjunction mark the true beginning of the Aquarian Age?

Additional topics will include Saturn in Aquarius and Jupiter in Aquarius and Pisces. We’ll also explore the 2021 eclipses and the surprising prominence of Vesta in 2021’s aspect patterns. Is it time to devote more time and energy to serving the greater good?

Watch + Discuss: Guardians of Our Trouble Waters
Dec 3 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Zoom Webinar

Join us Thursday, December 3 for this virtual film screening event!

Award-winning film director David Weintraub has been an oral historian and filmmaker for over 20 years. His films have appeared on PBS stations around the country and at film festivals around the world. Weintraub’s latest documentary Guardians of Our Troubled Waters, tells the story of our early communities and their deep connections to their rivers and streams as a source of spiritual sustenance, as their lifeblood, and as a critical component of their livelihood; how that changed during the industrial era when paper mills, tanneries, and other manufacturing plants turned clean, protected water into moving cesspools; and the heroes who rose to challenge the destruction. So much of our environmental consciousness and economic vitality sprung from the champions of our waterways of the past. So much of our future depends upon our ability to continue their legacy today.

Guardians focuses on three communities — Western North Carolina, East Tennessee, and South Florida, the stewardship efforts that grew to protect the French Broad River, the Pigeon River, and the Everglades, and the lessons learned for today’s world.

The Details
Location: Zoom webinar – a link will be sent to all registered participants in advance of the event
Time: The documentary screening will begin at 5:30pm and the film runs approximately 77 minutes. Afterward, the director will answer audience questions.

This event is brought to you by the Western North Carolina Historical Association and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville.

Law of Attraction Discussion Group — Visualization exercises in LOA
Dec 9 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Online
Law of Attraction (LOA) is a powerful guideline that can be utilized within our lives, and impacts ourselves as well as the collective consciousness. Let’s discuss practical, everyday ways we use and apply these tools in 2020! This session’s discussion will be, “Visualization exercises in LOA.” No advance prep, reading or knowledge required. Come with an open mind and heart, free of judgement, and let’s learn together! This is an inclusive, informal, interactive discussion for people will all levels of LOA understanding.

Some other topics we will cover in future discussions include:
– How to utilize LOA to manifest best case scenarios
– Gratitude practices as a tool in manifestation
– Honoring your own feelings, emotions and well being (and others) as a form of self care while manifesting
– Staying grounded, avoiding toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing when manifesting
– Visualization exercises in LOA
– Manifesting on specific themes (love, money, good health, etc.)

Discussions will be held by Kathryn Brahaney, myself. I’ve utilized Law of Attraction in having a significantly better recovery than anticipated from two major car accidents, in receiving a job offer that allowed me to relocate to Asheville, NC (where I live now) and in finding my favorite apartment to date in a city I wasn’t sure would be in my budget. I started these discussions to share my experience using Law of Attraction and to provide opportunities to learn more that are accessible and affordable. Looking forward to sharing more with you all and chatting about how we can use LOA in navigating the rest of 2020 and beyond!
