March 5th to 7th, 2021, Brian Cain, Christian Day and the HEX Education Network present WitchCon Online, featuring over a hundred classes by over a hundred Witches and Conjurers from across the globe ready to share their time-honored wisdom and witchery.
WitchCon Online presenters are the preeminent masters of the magical arts and hail from across a rainbow spectrum of occult and spiritual practices. Their classes are personally designed to help beginners, novices, and experts alike draw upon the power of magic!
WitchCon Online 2021 registration includes admittance to all livestream video classes, rituals, and performances, each personally designed to help beginners, novices, and experts alike draw upon the power of magic. It also grants access to watch every class after the event has ended via our on-demand library so you don’t have to miss a magical moment!
The conference is livestreamed by the Hex Education Network on Crowdcast, a web-based platform with no need to download an app!
WitchCon Online attendees will love shopping live with our magical presenters, each showcasing powerful ritual tools, signed books, exquisite jewelry, and spellcrafts handmade by true practitioners in half-hour Live Sales. You don’t have to travel to the ends of the Earth to scour the witch markets: you can buy from enchanting artisans and score amazing tools and talismans from the comfort of your own home. Our Virtual Vendors’ Hall is free to the public as well!
The WitchCon Online Virtual Meet and Greet lets you meet and interact live on Zoom with WitchCon presenters and its hosts Brian Cain and Christian Day. This is a great way to get to know your favorite teachers and what’s even better is that it’s free and open to the public!

This year 6 of the partnering environmental organizations have gathered various way for you to enjoy nature, learn new things about the environment, and help protect our local ecosystems. By participating in some of these activities, you can be entered to win a bundle of goodies. Here’s how it works:

Vaccinations are rolling out, kids are going back to school, and now seems like the perfect time for some reprieve before the Summer comes into full swing. Join us May 13-16 for the second annual LEAF ReTreat – a weekend event to rejuvenate the soul and spark your inspiration so that we can continue building connection and bridging communities. This special enews is dedicated to the ReTreat. We invite you to join us and make it yours.
LEAF ReTreat offers beautiful seclusion in which you can relax and get away from the world. At 1/5th the attendee size of a traditional Festival, while maintaining the same acreage, Retreat gives you the feeling of having the place to yourself, creating more small and safe groups, and connecting you with nature, the lake, and the outdoors as an essential part of the experience. AND…you can bring your bike!
RiverLink is partnering with the City of Asheville and local volunteers to protect water quality through an Adopt-A-Storm Drain Program. Pollution from stormwater runoff is the biggest threat to clean water in our urban streams. Stormwater is rain that flows across the landscape—rather than soaking into the ground—where it picks up pollutants before flowing into a storm drain and emptying into the nearest stream.
With funding from the Pigeon River Fund, a grant administered by the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, this pilot program will pair volunteers with a storm drain in the Central Asheville Watershed.
The goal is to get 100 storm drains adopted in 2021. Volunteers will be awarded with fun prizes for their commitment and enthusiasm, and if successful, the Adopt A Storm Drain program will expand to include other areas in the City of Asheville.
How does it work?
Select a storm drain in a convenient location of the Central Asheville Watershed. It could be in front of your home, business, or where you exercise regularly. By adopting a storm drain, you commit to checking the drain in between rain events and keeping it clear of litter and debris. All it takes are gloves and a trash bag. Then with a smartphone or computer, you can report debris cleaned/cleared, and conditions such as illegal dumping or flooding. In a matter of minutes, you help protect water quality and prevent street flooding from clogged drains!
