The Hemp X Hot Box:Roll with us Fridays from 5-10pm as we coast a route through West Asheville and Downtown. Stops at UpCountry Brewing, One World Brewing West, Foggy Mountain, and The One Stop. We’ll have smokable and edible hemp products for purchase to enjoy alongside any wine or beer you bring yourselves (closed containers only). We’re happy to provide an affordable way for locals and visitors to Roll Up, Stay Safe and Party Down! Cruisin Asheville July 10th, July 31st, August 7th, August 21st. More dates to come!

The Hemp Xpress is dedicated to the safety of the Asheville community; public routes and experiences are operating at half capacity within social distance guidelines. Hand sanitizer is readily available to riders, and surfaces are regularly sanitized. Buncombe County requires a face mask be worn in public places.

Hendersonville Farmers Market is located at the Historic Train Depot (650 Maple Street) in downtown Hendersonville’s Seventh Avenue District.
Limited free parking spaces are available at the market on Maple Street off of Fifth Avenue in addition to parking on surrounding streets. Lot and metered parking are available 0.3 miles away at the City Hall lot (145 Fifth Avenue) or 0.4 miles away at the Maple lot (124 Fifth Avenue).

- As a market, we are determined to treat this public health crisis seriously. Persons failing to follow any of the rules below must leave the market immediately.

In the wake of concern over COVID-19, the Market will be implementing additional methods to help prevent the spread of illness:
• Walk-up service with vendors with proper distancing. Note that all customers must enter/exit from one of two locations and travel the market in a clockwise fashion. Be prepared to wait to enter the market if we are at capacity. Once in the market, look for the chalk lines that will keep you distanced from other customers while in line. Only one customer at a booth at one time.
• Drive-up service from 10am to 12pm on Saturday.
Please pull your car up along the Rice Street side of the market. Look for the blue tent and the signage. Stay in your car and a market employee will approach your vehicle. Hand that person your shopping list and cash or info for your pickup. They will ask any questions to clarify your order and ask you to pull your vehicle up and wait. A runner will make your purchases or pick up your prepaid items and return to your vehicle, placing it all in the back seat or trunk when possible. All market employees/volunteers will wear gloves and sanitize frequently.

Exploring Botanical Extraction: What is Whole-Spectrum Hemp Extract? Our friends at Asheville Botanicals invite you into the extraction lab to learn about production, processing and how hemp nourishes the endocannabinoid system. After the tour, we’ll visit the neighbors at Cursus Keme to nourish our souls with a tasty craft brew! We’ll offer this experience periodically on Saturdays; tickets includes a ride on the Hemp Xpress Trolley, a hemp pre-roll, a 45 minute tour of Asheville Botanicals and a bubbly beverage from Cursus Keme! We have been working hard to establish Emergency Safety Guidelines in order to safely operate during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s important for all to remember that we are able to be open because we are an open-air grocery store, not a social gathering.

In order to best serve all of our vendors during this time, we have established a pre-sale and pick-up option so you’re still able to purchase items from vendors you love while having as little contact as possible at the market. Emergency Action Plan (EAP) / COVID-19

No token sales at this time. Unfortunately, this means no EBT sales. Please understand that this is in the best interest of safety to our staff.

No vendors are allowed to sample at this time.

Face masks are not required, however, all staff & vendors of the RAD Farmers Market are required to wear face masks during operating hours.

All vendors have hand sanitizer at their booths, & sanitize their hands between customers & transactions.

Please allow the vendor to select your produce for you.

Pre-orders are appreciated, as always, however, all vendors also bring goods for sale at market.

We love your dogs, but also appreciate if you can leave them home for your safety. It’s hard not to pet the pups, but it’s hard to social distance and do that!

If you do bring cash, please bring smaller bills so that you will have an easier time with the exact change policy most vendors have at this time.

The next Art & Architecture Day in Hendersonville sponsored by the Arts Council of Henderson County will take place on Saturday, July 18. Small groups of six-to-eight will safely social distance their way up Main Street, meeting people in each block from Henderson County’s past who will tell stories of how they helped shape the downtown streetscape.
Each group will leave the 100 South block of Main Street in intervals of 15 minutes beginning at 9:00 a.m. There will be six tour guides acting as such notables from Hendersonville’s past such as architects Erle Stillwell and Richard Sharp Smith and long-time mayor Al Edwards. The entire tour will take about 90 minutes.

The Arts Council of Henderson County is a community organization that promotes, advocates for, and nurtures the arts in western North Carolina. Each year the Council sponsors two major art shows, Bring Us Your Best and Art on Main. Now in its seventh decade, Art on Main has been named one of the 200 Best Shows in America for Fine Art & Design.
