Do you have a boundary-pushing, innovative performance piece, short film or installation that you’re ready to share?
We will open applications for the film portion of the festival in fall 2023. Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway. Our application fee for films is $5.
NOW CONSIDERING WORKS OF ALL KINDS
We accept live performances from 5 to 60 minutes in length, plus installations and films. We’re open to other types of performance as well – let’s talk! Depending on its length, your piece may be grouped with another show, or scheduled as a Random Act of Fringe. RAFs are free and open to the public, and artists receive a stipend for their performance, rather than relying on door sales.
Typically each artist with a ticketed show gets 2 performances. But in 2024, we’re exploring the option of giving a few shows 3 performances, at select venues only. Our venues range from 20-80 person capacity.

Summer Vacation Forever Tour: Kelly Collette and Blake Hammond bring you a hilarious night of comedy that you can only see this summer. Both comics provide commentary on growing up pop, punk, and every brand of hooligan in between. If you think no body likes you when you’re 23, they are here to prove no body likes you when you’re 35 either.
About Kelly:
Kelly is a standup comedian and writer who began her career in Cincinnati, Ohio. She now works the road full time, performing in clubs, theaters, and independent rooms. She has been featured on Sirius XM, NPR, and Pandora. Her comedy special, I Made You This, produced by DryBar Comedy, has amassed over 3 million views in clips. She was a finalist on CMT’s Next Big Comic and toured with “The Nobodies of Comedy”, a rotating cast of comedians hand selected as the best unknown talent in the country. Kelly was named Cincinnati Citybeat’s Best Comedian in 2020. In 2022, she was an Artist In Residence at Acadia National Park- the first standup comedian in the National Parks history.
Kelly has performed at the prestigious Limestone Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Gilda’s Laughfest (Best of the Midwest showcase) and The Lucielle Ball Comedy Festival. She headlined the Super Dope Comedy Festival in 2019 and is headlining the Limestone Comedy Festival in 2023.
About Blake:
Blake Hammond is a fat and loud comedian from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is equally parts funny and honest. Blake is a staff writer for the nationally syndicated morning show Bob and Tom. He was a featured performer at the Limestone Comedy Festival and Skankfest. He has opened for Patton Oswald, Kyle Kinane and Doug Stanhope. His comedy special “Blake 182” has amassed millions of views online. His tweets are constantly featured on memes and stolen by brands. You can follow his twitter @bigradmachine

We are gearing up for a youth talent showcase to be held at Burial Beer (South Slope location) at our August 13 event: LEAF Famtastic Sunday. The Talent Showcase will kick off at Burial starting at 1 p.m. Want to be part of it? Auditions are on Saturdays in July at LEAF Global Arts. The talent showcase is free to enter and the August 13 event is free as well.

Clark Jones has been listed as one of the top 11 comedians by BET, named one of Brooklyn’s funniest people and he has appeared on HBO’s Crashing, Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, the 2 Dope Queens Podcast, season 9 of Comedy Central’s Features series, season 3 of Tooning Out The News, and was a recurring character on FOX NFL Sunday’s pregame show. Clark has also performed sketches for Comedy Central and Amanda Seales’ popular Get Your Life web series. Morgan is an Asheville based comic capturing the playful and often painful parallels between adolescence and “almost-adulthood.” Vibrant yet vulnerable; her high-energy storytelling is influenced by her background as an improviser. She co-hosts a weekly comedy open mic called “The Hot Seat,” and writes a monthly humor column, “Best Medicine with Morgan Bost,” for the Mountain Xpress. She’s opened for Rob Delaney, Beth Stelling, and has appeared in several breweries and discount grocery stores across Western North Carolina.
