Try Tennis for Kids at Hendersonville Racquet Club: A Fun, Affordable Way to Get Into the Game!
Looking for a fun, active way to introduce your child to tennis? Try Tennis for Kids is the perfect program
for children ages 5–14 who are new to the sport or have had minimal experience. Over the course of six
weeks, your child will learn the fundamentals of tennis, including basic strokes, how to rally, and most
importantly, have fun learning a new sport!
For $40, each child will receive a free racquet and instruction from our coaches. This is a fantastic
opportunity to develop important skills in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Program Highlights:
● Ages: 5–14
● Dates: March 4th – April 15th (No class on March 18th for Spring Break)
● Sessions: 4–5 PM and 5–6 PM
● Duration: 6 weeks
● Cost: $40 (includes racquet)
● Location: Hendersonville Racquet Club indoor courts

Four Seasons Foundation’s Resale Runway is a “must-attend” luncheon and fashion show, featuring stylish looks from our Four Seasons Hospice Home Stores. This year, because of high demand, we have combined our three smaller shows into ONE, BIG, FABULOUS SHOW at the Virginia C. Boone Center on the campus of the WNC Ag Center.

Resale Runway benefits Four Seasons, The Care You Trust, a nonprofit serious illness and hospice care organization serving 14 counties in WNC. Four Seasons provides Palliative Care, Hospice Care, Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Care, Grief Services, Home Care (in some counties), as well as Care Navigation. The Foundation impacts care for everyone – providing the means for additional training and needed medical equipment, valuable programs including Grief Services, We Honor Veterans and Music Therapy, facility maintenance, and so much more. In addition, the Foundation provides access to Palliative Care, Hospice Care, and other care services, to those without the ability to pay.

Headliner Cayla Clark is an Asheville-based playwright, comedian, creator, and producer. While she is still new to the world of stand-up comedy, she has enjoyed exploring various other forms of comedy over the years, including sketch comedy, improv, and more. Since moving to Asheville, Cayla has had the opportunity to produce and host local comedic dating shows like Blind Date Live and Bad Date Mic. In collaboration with Pardee Hospital Foundation and Hunter Subaru, we are thrilled to present the 2nd Annual She Slays 5K. This event is all about celebrating the strength, courage, and fierce determination of women fighting cancer. Whether you walk or run, you’re making a difference for those who are in the midst of this battle. This event aims to empower people to take charge of their health and well-being, while also raising funds for Hendersonville women who are fighting cancer.
While this event supports women with cancer, everyone is welcome to participate!
Join Blue Ridge Roller Derby for a double header featuring a Blue Ridge Junior Roller Derby match up followed by an adult competitive bout against the Soul City Sirens of Augusta, Georgia.

Discover the beauty of the 5th annual Jump off Rock Half Marathon & 10k presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee, an endurance running event unlike any other! Experience the thrill of one of the most scenic and fastest half marathon races in the south, running “downhill to downtown.” The Half has garnered a reputation as the most breathtaking and picturesque downhill half marathon in the Southeast, and it’s no wonder why!
Starting at Jump off Rock, a national landmark and the highest peak of the Town of Laurel Park, endurance runners will be captivated by the stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the colorful blooms and blossoms of spring. Then, continue on the gently downhill and picturesque 13.1 mile route that leads straight to the heart of downtown Hendersonville at Main Street.
The 10k race is fast and fun, commencing at the base of the Town of Laurel Park at the Hendersonville Family YMCA. Runners can join in with the half marathoners along the route and enjoy the beauty of the Town of Hendersonville that surrounds them. The 10k route is moderately flat and has a couple of gentle rollers throughout.
Finish line festivities await all participants at the same location in Historic Downtown Hendersonville on Main Street, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie!
