This 6-week workshop series is inspired by Richard Rohr’s, “Breathing Under Water: Spirituality and the Twelve Steps”. Throughout this series, we will explore The Twelve Steps as described in this powerful book and how they connect with Spirituality and Yoga. Join instructor, Rosie Mulford, as she takes you on a journey to gain a deeper understanding of how the ancient principles in the Gospels and the modern-day Twelve Steps can help to free those who struggle with addiction.

Try Tai Chi at the Weaverville Library! Learn more about the gentle art of Tai Chi. These Thursday PM sessions are suitable for beginners and regular practitioners alike. You may join at any point in the series. Come as often as you are able. No pre-registration is necessary. All ages are welcome. Children must have adult partners participating. Come try Tai Chi! This is a partnership program with Fung Loy Kok Taoist Tai Chi and the Friends of the Weaverville Library. |

This class features gentle stretching and strengthening aimed to restore the body and mind—focusing on breathing, body awareness, and mindset care. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own mat. Reserve your spot soon; there’s only capacity for 20 per class.

Many struggle with a variety of habits ranging from anger, lack of forgiveness, lust, addictions to substances, repetitive unhealthy thoughts and a host of other vices. In this seminar we look at scientific, health, and Biblical principles that aid in the victory over habits. Presented by Chad and Fadia Kreuzer. Chad and Fadia share seminars on health, the Bible, and overcoming habits. They have taught in Europe and throughout North America.

We will be as close to as directly across the parking lot as we can, near the water, with the tent (go past the bathrooms and head to the water). So, you should be able to find us pretty easily if it’s your first time).
We’ll enjoy meditations/visualizations, psychic ability empowerment, chakra activations, and lively discussions about how we can participate in the evolution of the new earth… a world where truth and the ethos of love (e.g.: Law of One) are the guiding forces.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Students will have a complete understanding of the foundation of psychic development. Through guidance and meditations studdents will understand the importance of breathwork, grounding, applying the chakra system and how it relates to the body and how each chakra works in psychic development and the expanding your awareness. Then expanding that awareness to work psychically with each other.
Each student will have the knowledge of all the different psychic modalities and how to use them.
Students will be working with each other and the instructor, in several exercises throughout this two-day course.
An organic lunch will be served for both days.

Organic Growers School is now accepting work trade applications for the 30th Annual Spring Conference & Market!
The OGS Spring Conference will be held at Mars Hill University from February 24-26, 2023.
In exchange for each shift worked you will be compensated for the same day of the Conference. For example; if you work trade on Saturday, you will have access to the Conference on Saturday and will be free to attend workshops throughout the day, as long as they don’t conflict with your shift hours.
Work traders can select two shifts if they would like to attend on Saturday and Sunday, or three shifts, if they would like to participate the whole weekend.
General work trade shifts do not require special skills or backgrounds. They do, however, require timeliness and a friendly demeanor. Classroom Assistants/Moderators require training and classroom experience.
You should expect to be working during some of the class time unless you are approved for a pre-or post-conference shift, or come as a paying participant.

All volunteers are required to submit a $40 deposit. Please complete one registration and submit only one deposit. You may include any additional interest shifts in the additional notes section of the work trade application. Deposits are refunded once you complete your work trade shift. Once your schedule and duties are confirmed, it is up to you to show up for your shifts on time and to complete your shift as asked. In the unfortunate event that you do not fulfill your shift, we will process your credit card for the deposit amount.
