Clark Beckham‘s talent is indisputable, it’s as simple as that. Growing up just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, Clark discovered an undeniable love for music through church and later on as a street performer where his bluesy vocals could be heard throughout the streets of Music City. After graduating from Lee University, the multi-instrumentalist traded in the bustling streets of downtown Nashville for the bright lights of Hollywood. In 2015, Clark received his golden ticket for Season 14 of American Idol where he captivated millions across the globe and was voted the runner-up of the season. Clark’s live performances dominated the top 10 most-viewed videos on American Idol’s YouTube channel.
In 2018, Clark released his Year One EP, which debuted at #6 on iTunes’ Alternative chart and #22 on Billboard’s R&B Sales chart. Since then, Clark has performed with the famous Nashville Symphony, opened up for platinum-selling recording artists Jon Bellion and Allen Stone, and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Clark is currently gearing up for the release of his debut album, Light Year, which infuses elements of Soul/R&B with pop melodies. The latest release from the album, “Luckiest Man,” is a lyrically beautiful, stripped down track with a deeply personal meaning.
Inspired by musical icons from Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to Marvin Gaye and Al Greene, Clark combines his love of timeless Soul/R&B music with pop sounds and melodies to create a sound uniquely his own. From growing up singing in a gospel trio to performing on the streets of Broadway all the way to an illustrious stage in Hollywood, Clark has achieved a magnitude of success thus far. However, Clark views this driving force of new, original music as a natural and upward progression in his career. With a captivating and dynamic energy, complemented by his effortless vocal range, Clark’s musical journey is just getting started.

With her spellbinding voice and time-bending sensibilities, Sierra Ferrell makes music that’s as fantastically vagabond as the artist herself. Growing up in small-town West Virginia, the singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist left home in her early 20s to journey across the country with a troupe of nomadic musicians, playing everywhere from truck stops to alleyways to freight-train boxcars speeding down the railroad tracks. After years of living in her van and busking on the streets of New Orleans and Seattle, she moved to Nashville and soon landed a deal with Rounder Records on the strength of her magnetic live show. Now, on her highly anticipated label debut Long Time Coming, Ferrell shares a dozen songs beautifully unbound by genre or era, instantly transporting her audience to an infinitely more enchanted world.
The Buncombe County Board of Commissioners has extended the county-wide face covering requirement for all indoor public spaces through Jan. 3, 2022. The indoor mask requirement also extends to Asheville, Biltmore Forest, Black Mountain, Montreat, Weaverville, and Woodfin.
In Buncombe County, COVID-19 case rates continue to be high, and per the CDC definition, the County remains an area of high transmission. The percent positivity remains in the moderate category, and the death rate remains in the substantial category.“Unfortunately, COVID-19 cases continue to increase after a high level plateau. The percent positivity is now consistently above 5% again, and we are likely to see a further increase after the Thanksgiving holiday,” said Public Health Director Stacie Saunders. “Transitioning to living with COVID-19 means doing what we can now to reduce transmission and burden of new infections. Our goal is to dampen as much as possible any surge we may see during this holiday season with the hope of achieving decreasing case rate and spread as we enter the new year.”
Holiday Season Volunteering
During the holiday season, our volunteer shifts usually fill up very quickly. If you are interested in volunteering during the holidays, please contact us as early as possible (at least 6-8 weeks in advance). Due to increased call and email volumes at this time, please allow for 4-5 business days to receive a reply.
Hunger does exist year-round, and we often have a greater need for volunteers during January and February. If you have flexibility in your volunteering schedule, please consider volunteering after the holidays.

Full Moon Farm is an organization dedicated to the well being of the wolfdog (wolf hybrid). Situated on 17 beautiful mountain acres in Black Mountain, NC, we operate as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization for abused and refused wolfdogs who find themselves in need of love, shelter, and care through no fault of their own.
Full Moon Farm provides a safe haven for animals that cannot be placed into homes for the rest of their lives. Our rescued wolfdogs come from animal control agencies, closed breeding situations and occasionally, an owner in crisis. We evaluate each animal upon intake and work with them at their level of comfort.
Some animals are “hands off” and we respect their choice, as well as that of the animals that crave human interaction. Our goal is to enrich the lives of the residents, allowing them to reach their highest potential. Your support by donation or sponsorship makes our task possible.
Though they may be abused or neglected, homeless because of death or divorce, they are all God’s Creatures and worthy of a lifetime of respect. We are here to serve them.

The Rough & Tumble aren’t casual road dogs, but they’re not letting on either. From their earworm melodies to their heartstring lyrics, this dumpster-folk/thrift store Americana duo refuses to bring the haggard, road-worn stereotype to their audience– even though they’ve earned it.
Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler formed The Rough & Tumble in 2011 and a few years later sold everything they could, bought a 16’ camper and hit the road with their two rescue dogs, playing roughly 150 shows a year to audiences across the USA and Canada. Equally at home in festival settings, listening rooms and house concerts, their commanding stage presence, sharp banter and engaging performances won them The Listening Room Network’s Artist of the Year award in 2019. Songwriters and storytellers, the duo will have you in stitches one minute and falling apart at the seams the next.
Come enjoy an evening of live music, food and drinks in the Isis Music Hall Lawn. Reservations are highly recommended.

Sexbruise? Has been featured at Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival and will perform at FloydFest 2021 and other pending festies, assuming this damn virus doesn’t mess us up the last second again.
Sexbruise?’s shows can be described as a giant party. The tunes are memorable, the stage presence exciting, and the antics unpredictable. And there are snacks. Thrown from the stage. The band has prepared pancakes and pizza on stage, brought out dancers in animal costumes, hired fake demonstrators to protest their shows, and many other cool things. The main goal of sexbruise? is to surprise its fans and push the boundaries of what is acceptable in a festival or live music setting.
Despite their extreme wealth and lavish lifestyle, Sexbruise? Grew up on a dirt road right down the street from Pappy’s Hardware Shop, and subsequently is very in tune with the struggles and plight of middle america.
Band Bios, like bands, are usually pretty boring. The primary function of a band bio is to fill the space next to the band photo on a website or press packet. We take this responsibility very seriously, so we have added a bunch of made up stuff below to make sure this block of text is large enough to fill out whatever template it falls into.
Sexbruise? was an American soldier and politician who served as the 18th president of the United States from 1869 to 1877. Before their presidency, Sexbruise? led the Union Army as Commanding General of the United States Army in winning the American Civil War.
The first mention of Sexbruise? dates from 1184, making it one of the oldest recorded cheeses in the world still made today. Cheesemaking traditionally was a woman’s task in Dutch culture, with farmers’ wives passing their cheesemaking skills on to their daughters. During summer months in the city of Gouda, South Holland, there is a cheese market in traditional style once a week primarily as a tourist attraction. Sexbruise? is now produced industrially. However, some 300 Dutch farmers still produce boerenkaas (“farmer’s sexbruise?”) which is a protected form of sexbruise? made in the traditional manner, using unpasteurized milk.

Ska City

Mark Erelli rose to the occasion with a writing streak, generating well over 30 new songs to choose from for his newest record. He ultimately gravitated toward those that wrestled with the questions we encounter in the “middle,” the certain point in life when you reflect on your hopes and dreams and what you thought were certainties. “One glance at the headlines and anyone can see that we are questioning the stories we’ve told ourselves and, in many cases, they aren’t proving as durable as they once seemed,” he explains. ”Do the things I took for granted as truth when I was younger still hold up? What can I still lean on? Am I strong enough for the ones I love to lean on me? The answers, if there even are answers, can be both unsettling and reaffirming.” Erelli has forged a colorful career by making the art of “being everywhere all the time” seem effortless. It’s hard to think of another artist who seems equally at home serving as a sideman for GRAMMY-winning artists like Paula Cole, Marc Cohn, and Josh Ritter, or producing albums for Lori McKenna, as he does writing and producing his own material, like last year’s “By Degrees,” on which he was joined by a host of voices including Rosanne Cash and Sheryl Crow.
With her stunning new album, ‘Violets as Camouflage,’ Mary Bragg examines that vulnerability in all its delicate splendor, holding it up like a diamond to the light as she carefully studies each sparkling facet. Self-produced and self-engineered at Bragg’s home studio in Nashville, TN, the fourteen-song collection is both beautiful and blunt, the work of an artist only just beginning to embrace the full range of her talents. She writes with a keen eye for detail and an extraordinary sense of empathy, populating the album with a cast of characters grappling with pain and loneliness and longing and desire, questioning when to dig in and when to give up as they struggle to cope with hardship and loss. The arrangements here are rich and rootsy, pulling from country, folk, and blues to weave a timelessly organic blend around Bragg’s breathy, evocative voice as she sings about the kind of raw emotion that might have seemed impossible to address even just a few years ago.
Come enjoy an evening of live music, food and drinks in the Isis Music Hall Main Stage. Reservations are highly recommended.
