He’s rock & roll incarnate—Mick and Keith rolled into one impossibly cool, soul-howling, guitar rattlin’ ball of genuine unapologetic grit and swagger. Mitch Fortune brings you an irreverent and nostalgia filled night of pop culture trivia every Thursday night 7-9 pm at the One Stop in Downtown Asheville. A potpourri of movies, music, TV show trivia just for you!

| VISIT US! To ensure the safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers, we will reopen for timed, private, self-guided, pre-booked tours of the historic Smith-McDowell House and Western North Carolina exhibit rooms.
Tours are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis: Wednesday – Saturday Tour reservations last for 1 hour to allow time for cleaning between groups. All visitors, staff, and volunteers are required to wear masks while inside the building. |
Sweeten up this holiday season and give back with Asheville Proper’s Cookies for Charity kits launching on National Cookie Day, December 4 and running through Friday, December 18. The decorating kit includes four cookies, three icing bags and sprinkles all prepared by Asheville Proper’s pastry chef, Hilary Lamont, and is available for a $10 donation. All proceeds will go to Asheville-Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, a non-profit organization addressing poverty, hunger, homelessness and access to health care for the under-served in Buncombe County.
Cookies for Charity kits will be available during regular dinner reservations or can be pre-ordered by emailing the restaurant at [email protected] with your name, phone number, number of kits you’d like to purchase and date and time for pick-up. The kits will be available to pick-up in the restaurant Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m.

The Tray Wellington Band is a high energy acoustic Newgrass group led by banjo virtuoso, and multi-time IBMA Award winner, and 2019 Momentum Instrumentalist of the year Tray Wellington. To put action steps to the desire to help others. Anyone who is interested in helping those who are food insecure. We will organize a way to offer a meal once weekly to those in need.

TIS THE SEASON TO BE SWINGIN! And Russ Wilson, his orchestra and all the gang will be doing just that on December 20th at the Isis Music Hall.
If you grew up with those Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams & Perry Como Christmas shows like Russ did then you are certainly going to enjoy this! Russ will be getting in the Christmas spirit with an evening of wonderful music. You’ll find yourself humming your favorite holiday tunes while tapping your feet to the swinging beat. But that’s not all! Along with Russ and the band will be Wendy Jones, Hank Bones, Nathan Hefner and Justin Ray to trim the musical Christmas tree.
