5th Annual Earth Day Kid’s Festival
Apr 20 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Salvage Station

Earth Day Kid’s Festival began 5 years ago as a way to bring the community together in celebration of our natural environment. A variety of environmental non-profits and organizations have come together to foster environmental consciousness and encourage the next generation of stewards to cherish our natural resources.

We invite families and people of all ages to come out and enjoy environmental education, arts and crafts, games, performances and more! There will be live music from Susana and Timmy Abell / Silver Trout Arts. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. We invite you to come out and enjoy this free festival!

We are fortunate to have our generous sponsors, Prestige Subaru Black Orthodontics, and venue sponsor, Salvage Station who make this event possible.

This festival is hosted in conjunction with “Earth Month,” a month long series of service days, workshops, and events throughout April organized by WNC for the Planet, a collective of environmental non-profits within Western North Carolina.

Festival will happen rain or shine.

CHEFS IN THE HOUSE: KEVIN GILLESPIE OF REVIVAL IN ATLANTA
Apr 26 @ 6:30 pm
Half-Mile Farm

KEVIN GILLESPIE OF REVIVAL IN ATLANTA
With Nick Demos, Tryon Distributing
Friday, April 26, 2019
6:30 pm Cocktails | 7:15 pm Dinner

Revival is a nod to Chef Kevin’s formative years, offering a proper version of the traditional Sunday dinner. Following Kevin’s allegiance to Southern cuisine, Revival focuses on farm-fresh ingredients and a dining experience that reflects the traditions his own family follows. The restaurant’s menu is a reinterpretation of what one would find at Gillespie’s grandmother’s house: a classic, Southern spread that features farm-fresh ingredients and also showcases refined culinary techniques.

When guests dine at Revival, they will feel the importance of sitting down and sharing a meal with loved ones – the same traditions that Gillespie’s own family held dear, and that we honor at Half-Mile Farm.

Gillespie was a finalist in the sixth season of Top Chef, Bravo’s cooking competition show and was voted as the “Fan Favorite” contestant for the season.

COST AND DETAILS
Tickets are $155 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Call 828-787-2635 or 828-787-2620 to reserve your seats.
