Asheville Salt Cave

Introducing local Asheville resident, Adora Winquist of ADORAtherapy, a world-renowned healer, alchemist and author.

Adora will be hosting a book signing and product demo at the Asheville Salt Cave on Thurs August 5th. Her new book titled “Detox,Nourish, Activate: Plant and Vibrational Medicine for Energy, Mood and Love” was released beginning of July 2021 and has received rave reviews. The book can be ordered from her website, Aeon Books, or Amazon, or at the event.

This revolutionary book guides readers along the path of self-mastery and the ultimate expression of their personal truth, offering a three- step system designed to heal trauma at the core level from this lifetime and many previous generations. Three well-being areas are explored in-depth, with eleven primary alchemical interventions to facilitate healing down to the DNA level.

We would love the opportunity to introduce you to Adora and to share this revolutionary book with you. Please join her at this event, held outdoors in the gardens at the renowned Asheville Salt Cave Spa. This nature-inspired salt cave offers pure relaxation and a chance to recharge, with 20 tons of pure pink salt that has naturally recreated the micro climate of a salt mine. This climate is maintained with the specific temperature and humidity levels found in a naturally occurring cave. The salt in their cave comes from all corners of the earth: from deep in the Polish salt mines, to the Dead Sea, to the Himalayan Mountains, to the Celtic Sea. It is antibacterial, uncontaminated by dirt, and is free of toxins and pollutants.

Adora and the Asheville Salt Cave promise an evening of reflection, relaxation, meditation and purpose.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Outpace Hunger: A Kid-Friendly Way to Stay Active This Summer
Aug 6 all-day
Asheville NC

Summer is here, and this year, we have a great way for families, neighbors, friends, and communities to come together and make a difference for our WNC neighbors facing hunger – all while participating in your favorite activities!
Outpace Hunger – MANNA FoodBank’s brand-new fundraising campaign to help turn your favorite activity into much-needed food for WNC families – is off to a great start!
The campaign is simple: participants set an activity-based fundraising goal and share their personal fundraiser with friends and family. Then, they track their progress and encourage people to support their effort to raise money for meals as they come closer to their goal.
Whether you enjoy walking your pooch, are an avid paddler, a stop and smell the roses hiker, yoga lover or an ultra-marathoner, you can turn your passion into meals by signing up to participate. Every $1 raised for MANNA helps provide four meals-worth of food – and it is needed now more than ever.

How It Works

Participating in Outpace Hunger is easy!

You decide your level of commitment, so every participant can create their own path to helping provide food to our community. Participants also decide how, when, and where they complete their goal, any time now through the campaign end on October 31.

Outpace Hunger participants:

(1) Register to be a part of MANNA’s Outpace Hunger community. The $20 registration fee includes a t-shirt for you and provides 80 MEALS for neighbors facing food insecurity in WNC.

(2) Choose a favorite activity (run, walk, roll, stroll, hike, bike, paddle, climb, float, skate, golf, and everything in between!) to complete individually, or as a family/group/team.

(3) Set a goal to reach. This can be an activity-related goal, a fundraising goal, or both.

(4) Invite friends and family to support your fundraising efforts through your own, personalized Outpace Hunger webpage.
