In collaboration with West Asheville Yoga join us in the Museum’s galleries for a Creative Flow experience that combines the beauty of art with the power of mindful movement.
All-levels are welcome. Please bring your own mat. Loose-fitting clothing is recommended.

In Ayurveda, the kapha dosha is cold, heavy, wet, thick, and slow, among other things. This dosha tends to be most present in winter and early spring. As a practice, we challenge that in yoga by building heat in the body and releasing excess water, so we can be our strongest and fittest, boosting our immune system and staving off depression.

Join us Saturday January 27th for our Second annual WINTERFEST festival! An all day extravaganza hosted by the Warriors Of Ash and Fae Nectar, this exciting Axe & Sword Fighting Event will be accompanied by a roaring bonfire, working blacksmiths, live music, axe throwing, pony rides, and a village of Artisans from lands near and far.
Liven up the quiet winter months by watching some authentic medieval combat with the Warriors of Ash in our tournament arena. Or try your hand at axe throwing while you enjoy the mystical battle music of Chris Welsh and his Sun and Moon Dance band. And don’t forget to browse our Artisan Village which features live blacksmithing demos, handmade jewelry, leathercraft, fantasy garb, and more!

He recently toured the world with more than 300 shows on his “I’m Coming Everywhere” tour. He is best known for his Netflix specials “Ball Hog” (2020), “Disgraceful” (2018), “Mostly Stories” (2016), and “Completely Normal” (2014). His fifth Netflix special “Sledgehammer,” was released in July 2023 and debuted at No. 1 on the
streamer. Segura will open the annual festival as the headlining act on August 7th, 2024, at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. The laughter-inducing extravaganza kicks off at 7:30 PM, promising an evening of unforgettable comedy.

Yoga with goats…it is just as ridiculous and amazing as it sounds. You can expect to grin, giggle, move, and flow alongside the sweetest little snuggly socialites. The goats may pull your attention away from your movement practice from time to time but they are the most adorable anchors to the present moment and can spark pure joy.
Disconnect with stress and connect with loving, social & adorable goats! This is a unique opportunity to spend time in a cozy, open-air barn and let the busyness of the world melt away for a moment. You can expect a beginner-friendly yoga class that is easy to follow…and rejoin if you find yourself distracted throughout.
Wear loose fitting clothing, long pants, shirts with sleeves, and clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Please plan on bringing your own yoga mat or you may rent a mat in advance for $5. The cave will transform into a “Nidra Nest” with zero gravity chairs, blankets, and bolsters to fully support you, whether sitting or lying down, for the entire experience. Release stuck emotions, rest, and rejuvenate! Join Reiki Master Teacher and Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Kate Wargo of Woven Light LLC in a soothing Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) practice guiding you into the “in between”; that space between being awake and being asleep.
