MPO staff has been working with their Regional Trail Workgroup to develop a draft plan for what we are calling the Hellbender Regional Trail. This plan is based on locally planned and existing trails to determine a network that highlights and emphasizes regional connections and potential overlap with roadway projects. This is a badass comedy showcase featuring the best local and surrounding area comics at a badass tattoo shop venue! This is a FREE show! And it’s also BYOB! It’s a perfect Saturday night good time!
Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.
Sean Patton is back in Asheville for two nights and he is bringing some of his favorite NYC comics with him! Join Sean Patton, Cipha Sounds, Caitlin Cook, and Wil Sylvince at Bens Tune Up for outdoor comedy and music.
Ben’s will be serving food and drinks so come early for a good seat and dinner. Door’s at 7pm, show at 8:30pm both nights
This will be a masks on event and all current health and safety guidelines will be followed. A limited number of presale seats available and more will be added week of based on weather.

The Venardos Circus, a touring Broadway-style animal free production, is thrilled to announce it will return with a brand-new livestream production on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Venardos Circus will perform one show at 4:00 P.M. PDT. No live audience seating will be available near the performance site, just via the Internet. Access to the livestream will require a ticket which costs $18.50 per person, three for $29.99 or larger multi-pack discounts are available at their website here. Sponsorships are also available. Venardos Circus has pivoted from its usual format for the time being, in response to COVID-19. Livestreams provide the opportunity for The Venardos Circus to bring a little circus magic to audiences not only in the U.S. but around the world.

SCOOTER FOWLER
Hailing from Inman SC, Scooter’s comedy is a mixture of pure silliness and a little filth. He believes laughter is the best medicine and should be administered as often as possible. There’s truly no-one in the world like the human teddy bear, SCOOTER FOWLER!
GRACE HAUTH
Grace Hauth is a comedian based in Charlotte, NC. She is a regular host and performer at The Comedy Zone-Charlotte. She has opened for Joe Zimmerman, Gina Brillon, and other nationally touring headliners.
JOY WILLS
Joy Wills is originally from Memphis, TN and performs all over the Southeast. She has opened for Jeff Dye, Nick Colletti and several other nationally touring headliners. Underneath her deadpan exterior you will find a charismatic wit and little to no muscle mass.
JAMES BURKS
When you mix goat farming, glassblowing, video game addiction, traveling glass buttplug salesman, alcoholic parents and multiple head injuries into the cake batter of life, out comes a delicious abomination: James Burks
OUTSIDE PATIO SHOW
This is our 2nd outside show on the patio at Guidon Brewing Company. Our first show filled up quickly, yet safely. Our 2nd show is likely to do the same. So come early, bring your friends and enjoy an incredible night of regional comedy!
