Our Business After Hours is still virtual, but there’s time for quality contacts and sharing of great ideas. We’ll break into small groups to engage each other in conversation; be prepared to socialize and share thoughts about what’s going on in your world — work-related or not! We’ll throw in a few fun questions to get everyone started. If you’d like to contribute a door prize, let us know when you register so we can be prepared to recognize you! A list of all attendees registered will be shared with everyone following the event. Not so sure about the Zoom format? Here’s what one participant had to say: “I really like these virtual breakouts. Rising Leaders is an eight-month long program, designed to develop the next generation of community leaders and board members for Henderson County nonprofit organizations. United Way of Henderson County has created the Rising Leaders program to educate individuals and give them the tools and connections to become key volunteers with our community partners and other nonprofits in Henderson County.
For the upcoming 2020/21 Rising Leaders program, we are offering a Virtual Rising Leaders program with monthly meetings happening on Zoom. It is our hope to hold our March 2021 Graduation in person, but attendance will not be required to successfully complete the program. We are offering an information session on Zoom on August 5, 2020 from 12-1 pm for those who would like to learn more. Register here.

| WomanUP is launching a three-part virtual workshopseries on Whole Person Wellness. For part one, join us for a real look at the impact of the pandemic on our mental wellness. AdventHealth Hendersonville Psychologist, Cynthia King, PsyD will share the impact of the virus and ways to strengthen your mental wellness through this time. We’ll also get tools for getting the rest of our bodies to help us build our mental wellness abilities from AdventHealth Hendersonville Wellness Coordinator, LaToya Ellis, MHA.

This plan is based on locally planned and existing trails to determine a network that highlights and emphasizes regional connections and potential overlap with roadway projects. This is a badass comedy showcase featuring the best local and surrounding area comics at a badass tattoo shop venue! This is a FREE show! And it’s also BYOB! It’s a perfect Saturday night good time!
Sean Patton is back in Asheville for two nights and he is bringing some of his favorite NYC comics with him! Join Sean Patton, Cipha Sounds, Caitlin Cook, and Wil Sylvince at Bens Tune Up for outdoor comedy and music.
Ben’s will be serving food and drinks so come early for a good seat and dinner. Door’s at 7pm, show at 8:30pm both nights
This will be a masks on event and all current health and safety guidelines will be followed. A limited number of presale seats available and more will be added week of based on weather.

The Venardos Circus, a touring Broadway-style animal free production, is thrilled to announce it will return with a brand-new livestream production on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Venardos Circus will perform one show at 4:00 P.M. PDT. No live audience seating will be available near the performance site, just via the Internet. Access to the livestream will require a ticket which costs $18.50 per person, three for $29.99 or larger multi-pack discounts are available at their website here. Sponsorships are also available. Venardos Circus has pivoted from its usual format for the time being, in response to COVID-19. Livestreams provide the opportunity for The Venardos Circus to bring a little circus magic to audiences not only in the U.S. but around the world.
