Led by certified Inward & Artward Creative Facilitator, Tikva Kingrea, this pre-Valentine’s Day workshop offers space to connect + craft a love letter from the heart. We’ll talk about the history and styles of love letters complete with examples, what elements go into writing a love letter, how to find and capture meaningful moments, and provide the needed materials to complete a written letter.
For partners and individuals alike, this workshop is designed for everyone looking for a shared meaningful experience to tap into a more intentional way of connection and expression. From die-hard romantics, to self-love-devotees, to “Galentines” enthusiasts, to folks where the “L” word needs a little TLC — there’s something for everyone — whether you’re looking to write a love letter to yourself, your longtime beloved, your cat, or a ghost who won’t let up their haunt in your heart, join us!

Participants will walk away with:
– creative ways of thinking about letter-writing-
a wax-sealed envelope and letter
– meaningful connection exercises
– a shared experience
– snacks

Guests will meet at Dssolvr Asheville (63 N. Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801) and then depart with their treasure map on a walking team scavenger hunt where they will use their minds and feet to follow Valentine’s Day themed clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest for a grand prize!

The hunt involves walking a distance of up to 2.0 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete.

Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free with the purchase of an Adult ticket.

Currently, she stars as Jesse in the Hulu cartoon Solar Opposites by the creators of Rick and Morty. Other television credits include TBS’ Conan, Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Last Call with Carson Daly, and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. She’s appeared in Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, HBO’s Andy Kaufman Awards, San Francisco’s Sketchfest, and the Dry Bar comedy series. Bon Secours Wellness Arena is pleased to announce that we will host iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli February 15, 2024 as part of an eleven show tour hitting major cities across the U.S. and Canada. The show will honor Valentine’s Day and mark Bocelli’s first time performing in South Carolina. Greenville Symphony Orchestra will accompany Bocelli for the performance conducted by Maestro Steven Mercurio.

2024 officially marks 30 years of Andrea Bocelli’s iconic career as well as his 65th birthday. As one of the most recognizable voices in the entertainment industry and revered by fans internationally, Andrea Bocelli has sold 90 million records worldwide. In addition to his sold-out arena-sized concert events and record-breaking live-streams, Bocelli has shared his talents at many major events including the Olympic Games, the World Cup, and Global Citizen. He has earned a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRITs and seven World Music Awards, plus a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The tour will feature performances from Bocelli’s beloved repertoire, including music to celebrate Valentine’s in February. All newly announced dates will feature selections from his uplifting solo album Believe, as well as a selection of arias, his beloved crossover hits, and famed love songs.

Immerse yourself in a heart-opening journey from
the start with a Bobinsana tea ceremony. This master plant teacher from the Amazon sets the tone for an evening filled with
loving-kindness. Step into a world of healing and connection with a special partnered event. This workshop will be facilitated by
one of their talented Massage Therapists at The Stable Spa, Nicole Lilly.

The innovative “klezgrass” music of Zoe & Cloyd springs from the rich traditions and complementary styles of fiddler/vocalist Natalya Zoe Weinstein and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist John Cloyd Miller. Descending from a lineage of klezmer and jazz musicians, Natalya trained classically in her home state of Massachusetts before moving south in 2004. John, a twelfth generation North Carolinian and grandson of pioneering bluegrass fiddler, Jim Shumate, is a 1st place winner of the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest and the Hazel Dickens Songwriting Contest. Based in Asheville, NC, Zoe & Cloyd delight audiences with soaring harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, seamlessly combining original bluegrass, klezmer, old-time and folk with sincerity and zeal.

In 2023, Zoe & Cloyd released their fifth studio album on Organic Records, entitled Songs of Our Grandfathers. The project is an homage to their respective bluegrass and klezmer roots and has been enthusiastically received with feature articles in Bluegrass Unlimited, No Depression and the Bluegrass Situation. Also in 2023, Zoe & Cloyd performed at numerous events including Bluegrass Omagh in Northern Ireland, the Earl Scruggs Music Festival, the NC Folk Festival, and will host A Swannanoa Solstice at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts in Asheville.

Zoe & Cloyd will be joined at the BMCA by bassist and long-time collaborator, Kevin Kehrberg. Kevin is an award-winning bassist who has performed jazz and traditional music styles all over the world from Indonesia to Kyrgyzstan, Japan and beyond. His recent collaborative recording for Bluegrass at the Crossroads won IBMA 2021 Instrumental Recording of the Year. Kevin has taught many workshops and clinics in addition to being a professor of music at Warren Wilson College, where he maintains an active bass studio and teaches various courses in music and culture.
