In this difficult time for all of us, the only thing BMC has to fight back with is our music. Please enjoy BMC Artistic Director Keith Lockhart leading the Brevard Music Center Orchestra in Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 (Movement IV: Molto allegro) at Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium. For the remaining exuberant and introspective movements of the composer’s last symphony – and more BMC musical moments from past seasons – please visit youtube.com/brevardmusiccenter.

Ease your isolation and connect to our global community by grabbing a copy of “Mic Cheka” from the LEAF ONEmic on iTunes, Spotify, or Amazon.
Studio engineers & youth from LEAF International Haiti, Tanzania & AVL ONEmic studios came to Asheville to participate in a masterclass at Echo Mountain Studios. The group learned & embraced valuable studio production skills that they took back home to share with their ONEmic communities and incorporate them into the production of their own music. It was the perfect opportunity to help jumpstart the group’s careers in production as each of them has shown years of dedication to the craft.
Join LEAF in supporting the creative talents of global youth using music production as their most valuable resource in preserving their cultures.
Tune in with me on Facebook Live each morning at 7:30am for a 20 minute live meditation with didgeridoo. I’ll be guiding you through simple and effective ways that will help you to:
- Calm your nervous system
- Become more resilient to stress
- Get you ready for the day and evening
The intention is for you to learn this simple skillset quickly and use it right now to stay centered, balanced and show up for yourself, your family, and your community.
The more of us that can do that, the better! I hope to see you soon.
Warmly,
Corey Costanzo
ps If you miss the live meditation, check our website later in the day. We will be uploading all recordings.

Eleanor Underhill and Molly Rose go solo in a two set concert from their homes in Asheville, North Carolina. Americana at its best.
HOW IT WORKS: RSVP https://www.eventbrite.com/e/underhill-rose-tickets-100634641923?fbclid=IwAR0-AlagHpExefICMa4WGZK5kqyl7LhdSieNk6ntM3U3wlR1J5OU6ganNLE by selecting REGISTER. You will receive an email with a link for the concert. Tune in at the concert time. The artist will provide you information to support them through an online donation via a service like PayPal or Venmo. Donations for house concerts typically range from $10-20, more for ensembles. There is NO PAYWALL. In this challenging time we’re all going through, we are working to connect people in isolation, support working musicians, but also be sensitive that many people are taking a huge financial hit. This may not be a good time for you to contribute. We still invite you to join us. We’re all in this together.
Harmonies. Soul-touching lyrics. Eye-catching stage presence. Underhill Rose has become synonymous with beautiful music, charming personalities, and rippling success. In the last four years, the band from Asheville, North Carolina has independently released two albums in the top of the Americana Music Association Airplay Chart and Roots Music Report Chart, all the while garnering critical acclaim from around the globe.
Get to know the joyful soaring voice of Molly Rose and her acoustic guitar and the distinctive styling of Eleanor Underhill’s open-back banjo and salty-blues vocals. Their close harmonies and charisma make most think they are sisters, and with their song-centered original compositions, Underhill Rose creates music that is real and inspired. See them on PBS Television, hear them on nationally-syndicated radio and at live performances, and you will know how Underhill Rose has carved out a distinctive place in the Americana-folk scene.
For their most recent release, the authentic, live sound was captured in their home state over two starry nights. Featuring original songs from their three studio albums, Underhill Rose’s Live covers the depth and joy of nearly a decade of musical partnership. The stripped-down sound highlights the soulful harmonies that originally brought Eleanor and Molly together to play music. By removing the bells and whistles of past recordings, Underhill Rose reveals the fundamental elements of their sound: a powerful partnership in full bloom.
