on the first Tuesday morning of every month will be reserved for “Meditative Mornings,” a pause for quiet time in our gardens and on our trails. During this time, our working garden crew will abstain from using leaf blowers, mowers and other equipment so you can be sure to enjoy the sounds of birds and the wind in the trees.

Take advantage of half-price parking on the first Tuesday of every month and come out to the Arboretum to enjoy a Meditative Morning!

There are several days each year that are fee free across the National Park Service. The days in 2021 are listed below. Please check operating status at this park and others before traveling as there may be changes due to Covid-19.

• Wednesday, August 4 – One year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
• Wednesday, August 25 – National Park Service Birthday
• Saturday, September 25 – National Public Lands Day
• Thursday, November 11 – Veterans Day

Introducing local Asheville resident, Adora Winquist of ADORAtherapy, a world-renowned healer, alchemist and author.

Adora will be hosting a book signing and product demo at the Asheville Salt Cave on Thurs August 5th. Her new book titled “Detox,Nourish, Activate: Plant and Vibrational Medicine for Energy, Mood and Love” was released beginning of July 2021 and has received rave reviews.
