Pediatrician Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha who exposed the Flint, Michigan water crisis will be in conversation
with Blue Ridge Health’s CEO Dr. Richard Hudspeth and Pediatric Neurologist Dr. Lisa
Abraham as she shares her moving, personal story of research, heartbreaking discovery, and
moral outrage while caring for the children of one of Michigan’s poorest cities.
“Dr. Mona” is the author of the 2018 book What the Eyes Don't See, which The New York Times
listed as as one of the 100 Most Notable Books of the Year. She was named one of Time
Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World and one of USA Today’s Women of the
Century. The event is a gift to the community in celebration of Blue Ridge Health’s 60 th
anniversary of service to the WNC region. All who attend will receive a complimentary copy of
Dr. Mona’s book, while supplies last.

Join Alexis from Cisco Pilates Asheville for a free Pilates mat class! The class is beginner friendly. This will be offered in-person at Pack Library or from the comfort of your own home. You choose! We will have some yoga mats on hand for the in-person participants, but feel free to bring your own equipment and water bottle!

Join us for a beautiful sound healing concert inside the Salt Cave. The concert will be preformed by Billy From @Skinny Beats Sound Shop. Come enjoy the sounds of the handpan, gong, crystal bowls as well as many other various instruments. The music will vibrate through the walls of the salt cave and reach to the deepest part of your soul. These two treatments combined create wonderful space for deep healing.

Calling all singers, songbirds, crooners, and chanteuses! Interested in joining WNC’s premier vocal ensemble and performing with Asheville Symphony?
The Asheville Symphony Chorus invites you to audition for the 2023-2024 season.

Locally owned and operated Physical Therapy Practice, Physio Physical Therapy and Wellness has been steadily growing in the last few years, including opening a second location in West Asheville. A four-time Sky High Growth Award winner, Physio focuses on providing excellent customer service and has been voted the Best Physical Therapy Clinic in Asheville for 10 consecutive years.

What is Modern Alchemy?
Traditional alchemy is considered to focus on transmuting base metals to gold. But true alchemy is actually the journey of the spiritual seeker.
When I first began exploring plant medicine, I was introduced to the concept of synergy, where the sum of the parts or ingredients are more effective than the singular aspect or isolate. This concept has evolved from my perspective and practice over the last 30 years as a healer, teacher and author in the field of complementary medicine.
Modern Alchemy is the hero’s and heroine’s journey to Know Thyself and in that journey to transform the places of limitation, pain and suffering from our soul to our cells into life affirming, creation expressions of thriving. That is our true birthright.
It is a synergy of 4 pillars that anchor the universal truth and the creative potential of the universe: esoteric philosophy, psycho-spiritual dynamics, essential oils and vibrational medicine.
