Trivia Every Thursday w/ Not Rocket Science
Spend 2+ hours as a jeweler!
Work with silver wire to create a set of three textured stacking rings. Learn the techniques you need to fuse the silver, hammer, and stamp to your liking, and we’ll then polish the rings to a nice shine. Leave class feeling accomplished and ready to show off your work!
You will use a torch! (Don’t be intimidated, our highly skilled and fun instructors will walk you through it!)
Please wear close-toed shoes and tie long hair back for safety. All tools and materials needed for class will be provided.

Robin and Samata will facilitate a safe and nurturing environment for you to embark on your creative journey through the Artist’s way. Together they have over 50 years of experience leading groups and facilitating meaningful experiences.
Join us for this fun filled and always popular in-person annual summer series! Classes will meet weekly and will cover topics including: the wise woman tradition of healing, summer skin care, herbal support for stress, the medicinal uses of popular garden plants, wild weeds, kitchen remedies and much more. This course will also include an introduction both essential oils and flower essences. Throughout this course you will form intimate relationships with over 20 popular herbal remedies.
Support a child in learning to read! Read to Succeed volunteer reading tutors teach elementary students to read using phonological awareness and phonics curricula that aligns with Asheville City and Buncombe County Schools instruction. Tutors attend 6+ hours of training and work one-to-one or in small groups with elementary students throughout the school year (during and after school).

Join Goodwill Cultural Ambassador/Master Acting Teacher/Solo Performing Artist Ronald Rand’s “ART OF TRANSFORMATION” Workshop – an inspiring and fun experience for all ages with or without a theatre background. Come feel the joy of creativity and storytelling through imaginative improvisations, poetry, song, and movement exercises and explore Stanislavsky’s “Method of Physical Actions” acting chart! Ronald has presented his Master Workshop in 26 countries and 20 states at theaters, universities, colleges, and festivals. He currently tours as Harold Clurman in his acclaimed solo play, “LET IT BE ART!” in his 24th year, and has appeared in over a hundred films and TV shows, including opposite Tom Cruise in “Vanilla Sky”, Sean Connery in “Family Business”, Yoko Ono in “Homeless,” and Christopher Plummer in “O’Keefe & Stieglitz”. Founder & Publisher of “The Soul of the American Actor”.
