Discover the Hendersonville Farmers Market, Locally Grown, Community Strong
A vibrant weekly gathering at the Historic Train Depot in downtown Hendersonville. Running every Saturday from May 3rd to October 25th, rain or shine, the market showcases over 30 local vendors within a 60-mile radius. From farm-fresh produce and meats to baked goods, crafts, and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone. The WNC Nature Center continues roaring back to life with one of Asheville’s favorite summer traditions — Brews and Bears!
Starting Friday, May 9, from 5:30–8:00 p.m., this after-hours event invites guests to enjoy the Nature Center in the cool evening hours with live music, local food, and plenty of local brews and beverages.
The Brews and Bears Summer Series will take place on the second Friday of each month through August, and each event features a unique lineup of food trucks, musicians, and animal education programs—so no two nights are the same!

Roman is a Los Angeles-based comedian and a regular performer at classic Hollywood venues including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Hollywood Improv. He has trained with Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre, performed in various ensemble casts in film and on stage, and has opened for Mark Normand, Margaret Cho, and Patton Oswald. His one man show ‘Back In The Closet’ made it’s world premiere at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018. He currently is living in Asheville while still performing everywhere.

Taking place at The Horse Shoe Farm in Asheville on Sunday, July 13, the all-inclusive, walk- around tour will feature a lineup of local chefs and artisans, each grilling globally inspired, heritage-breed proteins al fresco. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire brings fans’ favorite Hot Wheels Monster Trucks to life including Mega Wrex™, Tiger Shark™, HW 5-Alarm™, Bone Shaker™, Bigfoot®, Gunkster™, and introducing the brand new Skelesaurus™, the fossil fury villain of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. Each stop of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire will be celebrating Bigfoot’s birthday to commemorate the Original Monster Truck’s longstanding and historical impact on the motorsport’s world.
Fans can also witness a special appearance from a transforming robot, plus the high-flyers of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Freestyle Motocross Team.
Hot Wheels fans also have the chance to participate in the all-new Power Smashers Pre-Show Party, held two and a half hours prior to every performance. Above and Beyond is PARI’s signature camping experience designed to immerse high school students in the world of space science and research while building confidence and critical thinking skills.
Originally developed in partnership with Duke University and refined for nearly two decades, this space camp explores the universe through astronomy, physics, and astrobiology, while also providing time for adventure and fun.
The process followed by scientists and researchers who’ve made space science their career is modeled to show how new discoveries are made about the universe. Campers are provided the tools and guided through the process by professionals who have made space their life’s work.
This year’s camp will focus on the unique challenges of human space exploration, near and far. From the impact of stars on the planets in their systems, to the composition of atmospheres and regolith, we’ll present the tools to answer a myriad of questions that could one day help humanity spread beyond Earth.
How do we find water or breathable atmosphere, or can they be made? How do we measure radiation from a star or classify exoplanets? Can a cave or lava tube on Mars provide adequate shelter for humans? What resources can be harvested from asteroids? Maybe you’ll help answer a question like these.

The Asheville Dream Center is thrilled to present its annual Summer Bash Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, July 26, 2025 — an unforgettable day focused on equipping students and uniting the city. Get ready for one of the biggest and most impactful community events of the year!
The event’s goal is to provide 4,000 students across Asheville and surrounding areas with fully stocked backpacks and essential school supplies. But it’s more than a giveaway — it’s a city-wide celebration of education, families, and community.
This year’s event includes:

Golden Hour’s collaborative guest chef series is off to a delicious start, and they are keeping the momentum going this July by welcoming Chef Mike Rednak from Indaco Greenville to bring his culinary influences for a five-course tasting menu that celebrates wood fired flavors and local ingredients. This series invites chefs to Golden Hour to share the kitchen for a one-night-only menu that reflects their roots, creativity and signature style.

The SCACA All- Sports Clinic is THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ATHLETICS CONFERENCE in the state of South Carolina. This three-day annual conference offers a wide range of education sessions on both boys and girls sports, athletic administration, as well as health and safety topics, multiple networking opportunities, rules meetings, an on-site job room, an awards banquet, and an astounding array of exhibits.
