On weekdays from December 2 through 20, Historic Johnson Farm will host daytime Christmas tours. Tour the decorated historic house, visit the Heritage Weavers & Fiber Artists, and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies. Guided tours are at 10:30 AM each day. While drop-ins are allowed, those with reservations take priority, so please consider making a reservation. Guided daytime tours are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors (65 and over), and free for those 4 and under.
Groups of 10 or more are welcome to reserve private group tours at 1:30 PM each weekday for a group rate of $8 per person, but they must reserve ahead of time by calling 828-891-6585 or emailing [email protected].

Geared specifically towards the 5-12 year old crowd, you’ll learn about our city’s history and see the sights in true LaZoom style – complete with our famously outlandish tour guides, hilarious comedy skits, and all sorts of special appearances! Perfect for birthday parties or school field trips, it’s the best thing to do with your kids in Asheville. It’s a show on wheels!
The tour is 60 minutes long and includes no stops. The tour is hosted by a zany tour guide, and along the way other characters will hop on the bus and perform kid-centric sketches (Candy Pirate, Ninja, and a Levitator) The tour is not only fun – it’s educational! Kids and adults will learn new and interesting facts about Asheville along the way. There must be 1 adult for every 4 children. We do not allow any unaccompanied children. Children 3 and under do not need a ticket if they are sitting in an adults lap.

Join me in celebrating the Winter Solstice with a restorative Sound Bath! This Solstice offers a time of renewal, hope, & the triumph of light over darkness. It’s an auspicious time to let go of what’s no longer serving you and welcome new beginnings.
We will begin at 10:00 am to be in close alignment with the time of the Solstice and the coming of the Light.
For the meditation, we will experience the energies of the stars as the warmth of the sun rises basking you in it’s gentle rays & penetrating your body with healing energy.
Note: Please bring a mat/blankets/pillow since you will be lying on the floor.
Wear comfortable and flexible clothing.
Choose your space starting at 9:45 am, doors close promptly at 10:00 am.
NOTE: Accessible parking is available in the Center for Spiritual Living Asheville upper parking lot. The entrance to the upper parking lot is off of S. Bear Creek Rd between Science of Mind Way and Sand Hill Rd. (see map in comments).
There is a boardwalk walk way from the upper parking lot to the building entrance.
