Come join us on a journey of somatic bliss with our Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath with Vivek Chugh, an immersive experience designed to transport you to a realm of deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
Vivek will be facilitating this sound journey using handcrafted singing bowls, each emitting unique vibrations, frequencies and tones which can bring balance and health to the body. The premise is that sound can influence physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state of being.
Allow yourself to be transported to a state of profound calmness as the harmonic frequencies of the singing bowls washes over you. No prior experience is necessary.
Whether you’re a seasoned mindfulness enthusiast or someone seeking a novel path to relaxation or seeking stress relief, our Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath is a therapeutic journey where ancient wisdom meets modern well-being.

From farm-fresh produce and meats to baked goods, crafts, and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Join us from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a celebration of food, farms, and family in a lively community atmosphere.
Shift into your parasympathetic nervous system with a healing Sound Bath! This shift helps the body lower your heart rate, relax muscles, and initiate healing processes.
Join your host Kristin Hillegas, for a one-hour Serenity Sound Bath and experience a deeply immersive, full-body sound and vibrational experience. A sound bath can cleanse your soul, restore your balance, surround you with peace and tranquility and stimulate healing.
Note: Please bring a yoga mat/pillow/blanket since you will be lying on the floor. Wear warm, comfortable, and flexible clothing.
The Sound Bath will take place upstairs in the Education Building. Choose your space starting at 12:45 PM, doors close promptly at 1:00 PM.
This service is being offered on a sliding scale of $10-20.
Accessible parking is available in the Center for Spiritual Living Asheville upper parking lot. The entrance to the upper parking lot is off of S. Bear Creek Rd between Science of Mind Way and Sand Hill Rd.
There is a boardwalk walk-way from the upper parking lot to the building entrance.

We’re turning off reservations and opening our doors for walk-ins only—so come as you are and enjoy live music from Blaze the City, delicious cocktail specials, and good company. Learn some of the hottest country hip hop line dances with the Blue Country Line Dancers and dance all afternoon! Country Swing Two-Steppers are welcome to join as they’ll be opportunities to strut your stuff. To top it all off, grab a mimosa or bloody and some delicious crunchy-lunchy dishes from the Taqueria. This is your weekend opportunity to dance your heart out with super-friendly dancers instructors. Golden Hour’s collaborative guest chef series is off to a delicious start, and they are keeping the momentum going this July by welcoming Chef Mike Rednak from Indaco Greenville to bring his culinary influences for a five-course tasting menu that celebrates wood fired flavors and local ingredients. Headliner Jordan Julius is a Charlotte-based comedian and the winner of the 2024 Slice Standup Comedy Pageant, of which 20 great regional comics competed. He is a stand-up comedian fueled by caffeine, anime, and the kind of life choices that make great material (eventually). Blending pop culture, slice-of-life chaos, and way too many hours spent gaming, Jordon’s comedy hits that sweet spot between nostalgic and unhinged.
Sarah Love is a comedian based in Asheville, North Carolina. She’s performed all over the region including at Zanies Lab in Nashville, featured at The Comedy Zone Greenville, and is a regular on Don’t Tell Comedy shows across the Southeast. She is a wry yet kinetic comic with a rebellious streak. Her comedy is blunt, relatable, and just unhinged enough to keep you on your toes.

Louis C.K. is a six-time Emmy Award and three-time Grammy Award winner. He has released over ten stand up specials including his most recent “Louis C.K. at the Dolby,” “Sorry,” and “Sincerely, Louis C.K.,” all released direct to fans on his website. In 2023, C.K. live-streamed his sold out in the round performance from Madison Square Garden, aptly named “Back To The Garden,” through his website. Previous specials include “Shameless,” “Chewed Up,” “Hilarious,” “Word – Live at Carnegie Hall” (audio), “Live at the Beacon Theater,” “Oh My God,” “Live at the Comedy Store,” and “Louis C.K. 2017.” C.K. is the creator, writer, director, and star of the Peabody Award winning shows “Louie” and “Horace and Pete.” C.K. also co-wrote, directed, and appeared in the feature film “Fourth of July,” released in theaters nationwide in July 2022. In January 2015, he became the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden three times for the same tour.

The WNC Nature Center continues roaring back to life with one of Asheville’s favorite summer traditions — Brews and Bears!
Starting Friday, May 9, from 5:30–8:00 p.m., this after-hours event invites guests to enjoy the Nature Center in the cool evening hours with live music, local food, and plenty of local brews and beverages.
The Brews and Bears Summer Series will take place on the second Friday of each month through August, and each event features a unique lineup of food trucks, musicians, and animal education programs—so no two nights are the same!
